³³ »Sell your possessions and give to charity. Make yourselves purses that do not get old, a treasure in heaven where moth and rest cannot corrupt and thieves cannot steal. ³⁴ »Your heart will be where your treasure is.

¹³ »No one has ever ascended into heaven but the Son of man who descended from heaven.

For the glory of God and of the Lamb was its light. ²⁴ The nations will walk by means of its light. The kings of the earth bring their glory into it. ²⁵ Its gates will not close in the daytime and there will be no night there. ²⁶ They will bring the glory of the nations into it. ²⁷ Nothing impure will ever enter it. The shameful and deceitful will not enter. Only those who are written in the Lamb's book of life will enter.

²¹ The twelve gates were twelve pearls. Each individual gate was one pearl. The street of the city was pure gold, as transparent glass. ²² I saw no temple there: for the Jehovah God the Almighty and the Lamb are the temple. ²³ The city did not need the sun or the moon to shine on it. ¹⁹ »Do not accumulate large amounts of wealth on earth. This is where moth and rust consume and where thieves break in and steal. ²⁰ »Accumulate wealth in heaven where neither moth nor rust consumes, and where thieves do not break in and steal. ²¹ Your heart will be where you keep your wealth.

⁴³ He replied: »Today I tell you this. You will be with me in paradise.«

⁹ If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and have active faith in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. ¹⁰ For with the heart one believes for righteousness. And with the mouth one declares for salvation. ¹¹ The scripture says: »No one believing on him shall be disappointed.« (Isaiah 28:16) ¹² For there is no difference between Jew and Greek. The same Lord (God) of all is abounding in riches for all who call on him. ¹³ »Everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved.« (Joel 2:32)

⁹ It is written: »Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, and it has not entered into the heart of man, the things God prepared for those who love him.« (Isaiah 64:4)

¹ He showed me a pure river of water of life. It was clear as crystal and flowed out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. ² This was in the middle of the street of the city. The tree of life was on each side of the river. It produced twelve kinds of fruit and yielded the fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. ³ There will be no curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city. His servants will serve him. ⁴ They will see his face and his name will be in their foreheads. ⁵ There will be no night there. They need no lamp, neither light of the sun, for Jehovah God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.
