²⁵ »You must serve Jehovah your God! I will bless your food and water. I will take away all sickness from among you.

³⁹ »See now that I, even I, am he. There is no god besides me! It is I who put to death and give life. I have wounded and it is I who heals. There is no one who can deliver from my hand.

They will be called oaks of righteousness. They are the planting of Jehovah, that he may be glorified.

⁶ »However I will heal this city and restore it to health. I will heal its people, and I will give them peace and security.

¹⁵ The prayer of faith will save the sick person. God will raise him up; and if he committed sins, it will be forgiven him. ¹⁶ Confess therefore your sins one to another, and pray one for another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man helps much.

²⁴ He bore our sins in his body upon the stake, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed because of his wounds (stripes).

¹³ Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. It is written; »Cursed is everyone who is hung on a stake.«

¹⁹ My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

¹⁰ He sent his son Joram to greet King David and congratulate him for fighting and defeating Hadadezer. There had often been war between Hadadezer and Toi. Joram brought articles of gold, silver, and copper with him.

¹⁷ »These signs will accompany those who believe. They will cast out demons in my name. They will speak with new languages. ¹⁸ »They will pick up and handle serpents. Deadly drink will not hurt them. They will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.«
