Genesis 1:26

26 Then God said: »Let us make man in our image, in our likeness. Let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth and over all the creatures that move along the ground.«

Exodus 35:30-35

30 Then Moses said to the sons of Israel: »Jehovah has called by name Bezalel son of Uri son of Hur of the tribe of Judah. 31 »He has filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding and in knowledge and in all craftsmanship. 32 »He is a master artist familiar with gold, silver, and copper. 33 »He knows how to cut and set stones and how to work with wood. He is an expert in all trades. 34 »Jehovah also gave Bezalel and Oholiab, son of Ahisamach, from the tribe of Dan the ability to teach others. 35 »Jehovah made these men highly skilled in all trades. They can do the work of jewelers, carpenters, and designers. They know how to embroider violet, purple and bright red yarn on fine linen. They know how to weave yarn on a loom. They can do all kinds of trades. They are master artists.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

19 What? Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit? That one (Greek: »hos he ho« which, that one) is in you. You received it from God. You are not your own. 20 You are bought with a price! Therefore glorify God in your body.

Romans 8:1

1 Those who live through (in union with) (because of) Jesus Christ have no condemnation. [They do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.]

1 Corinthians 12:1-11

1 Concerning spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be without knowledge. 2 You know that you were of the nations, carried away and led by mute idols. 3 I want you to understand that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed. And no person can say, »Jesus is the Lord,« except by the Holy Spirit. 4 There are different gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 There are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. 6 And there are different operations, but it is the same God who works in all. 7 The manifestation (expression) of the Spirit is given to everyone for a beneficial purpose. 8 For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the one Spirit; 10 To another the workings of miracles and to another prophesy. To another discerning of spirits; to another different kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 But in all these the same Spirit works, making a distribution to each one as he (God) wills.

1 Corinthians 12:1-31

12 For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of that one body, being many and are one body, so also is Christ. 13 For by one Spirit we are all baptized into one body, whether we are Jews or people of the nations, whether we are bond or free; we were all made to drink of one Spirit. 14 For the body is not one member, but many. 15 If the foot should say: »Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body;« is it therefore not of the body? 16 If the ear should say: »Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body;« is it therefore not of the body? 17 If the whole body were an eye, where is the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where is the smelling? 18 Has God set the members of the body, every one of them, just as it pleased him? 19 And if they were all one member, where would the body be? 20 But now they are many members, yet they are one body. 21 And the eye cannot say to the hand, »I have no need of you:« nor again the head to the feet, »I have no need of you.« 22 Those members of the body, which seem to be weaker, are necessary. 23 And those members of the body that we think to be less honorable, we offer these more honors. Our less acceptable parts have more abundant acceptability. 24 For our acceptable parts have no need. But God has assembled the body together, having given more abundant honor to the part that was lacking. 25 There should be no division in the body. So the members should have the same care for each other. 26 When one member suffers all the members suffer with it. When one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. 27 Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. 28 God has appointed some in the congregation: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helpers, abilities to direct, different tongues. 29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? 30 Do all have the gifts of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? 31 Zealously seek (earnestly desire) the best gifts. Yet I show you a more excellent way.

1 Corinthians 12:12-26

Ephesians 2:8

8 By grace (Greek: charis, divine favor, loving-kindness) you have been saved through faith. It is not from you. It is the gift from God!

Acts 2:38

38 Then Peter said: »Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 12:3-8

3 I say through the grace given to me that every man among you should not think more highly of himself than he ought to think. But to think soberly, just as God has dealt to every man the measure of faith. 4 For we have many members in one body and all members do not have the same function. 5 These many members are one body in Christ, and every one, individually, is a member one of the other. 6 We have gifts that differ according to the grace that is given to us. Whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; 7 or ministry, let us wait on our ministering; or he who teaches on teaching; 8 or he who exhorts; on exhortation; he who gives let him do it with liberality; he who rules, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

Colossians 3:17

17 Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus. Give thanks to God the Father through him.

2 Corinthians 9:15

15 Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!

Romans 11:29

29 The gifts and calling of God are irrevocable.

Ephesians 2:8-9

8 By grace (Greek: charis, divine favor, loving-kindness) you have been saved through faith. It is not from you. It is the gift from God! 9 It is not the result of works. So no man should boast.

James 1:17

17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above. It comes down from the Father of lights (truth and spiritual purity), with whom there is no variation. He does not change like shifting shadows.

1 Peter 4:10

10 According to the gift you have received, minister among yourselves, as good stewards of the increased grace (divine influence) (love) of God.
