When she received the messengers she sent them out another way. ²⁶ Just as the body without the spirit is dead; even so faith without works is dead.

²² The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faith, ²³ meekness (mildness), self-control; against such there is no law.

²⁸ God blessed them and said to them: »Be fruitful and increase in number. Fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and dominate the birds of the air. Have dominion over every living creature that moves on the ground.«
