³ Abraham said: »My Lord, if I have now found favor in your sight, do not pass by your servant.

⁴ Potiphar was pleased with him and made him his personal servant. He put him in charge of his house and everything he owned.

¹³ You will arise and have compassion on Zion. It is time to be gracious to her for the appointed time has come.

²² The man who finds a wife finds a good thing. He obtains favor from Jehovah.

³ Do not let kindness and truth leave you. Bind them around your neck. Write them on the tablet of your heart. ⁴ You will find kindness and understanding in the sight of God and man.

¹¹ Jehovah will continually guide you. He will satisfy your desire in scorched places and give strength to your bones. You will be like a watered garden and like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.

³¹ »Do not worry! Do not say: ‘What shall we eat?’ or, ‘What shall we drink?’ or, ‘What shall we wear?’ ³² »All people go in search of these things. Your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. ³³ »Seek (desire) (require) (serve) first the kingdom of God and his righteousness [continuously] and all these things will be added to you.

⁵² Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.

⁸ By grace (Greek: charis, divine favor, loving-kindness) you have been saved through faith. It is not from you. It is the gift from God! ⁹ It is not the result of works. So no man should boast.

⁸ But Noah found favor in the eyes of Jehovah.

⁵ For His anger is only for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime! Weeping may last for the night but a shout of joy comes in the morning.

¹ My son, do not forget my law. Let your heart obey my commandments. ² My precepts will give you a long, peaceful, and prosperous life. ³ Do not let kindness and truth leave you. Bind them around your neck. Write them on the tablet of your heart. ⁴ You will find kindness and understanding in the sight of God and man.

¹¹ We were assigned as heirs predetermined according to his purpose. He works all things according to his direction and will.

¹¹ For Jehovah God is a sun and shield. Jehovah will give favor and honor. He will not withhold blessing from those who walk faithfully in truth.

¹² You bless the righteous man, O Jehovah. You surround him with favor as with a shield.

¹⁷ Let the kindness of Jehovah our God be with us. Confirm for us the work of our hands. Yes, confirm the work of our hands.
