¹⁵ He said to them, »Go into the entire world, and preach the good news to the whole creation. ¹⁶ »He who believes and is baptized will be saved. He who does not believe will be condemned.

²⁸ We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

¹⁰ For with the heart one believes for righteousness. And with the mouth one declares for salvation.

²⁰ I will not be put to shame according to my earnest expectation and hope. With all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in me, whether by life or by death. ²¹ For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

¹⁵ Do not love the world or the things in the world. If any one loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. ¹⁶ The entire world, the desire of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of material wealth, is not from the Father, but is from the world. ¹⁷ The world and its desires (lusts) are passing away; but he who does the will of God lives forever.

² You lust, and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain! You fight and war. You do not have because you do not ask. ³ You ask and do not receive because you ask wrongly (with bad motives) that you may spend it on your pleasures. ⁴ Adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity (hatred) (hostility) toward God? Whoever would be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

⁸ Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

¹³ I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

²⁰ I have been impaled with Christ. It is no longer I that live, but Christ lives in me. The life that I now live in the flesh (physical body) I live by faith. This is the faith that is in the Son of God. He loved me and gave himself up for me.

³⁸ For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, ³⁹ Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Ephesians 6:12)

² Do not be conformed to this world (religious, social, political, and economic arrangement). But be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Prove what is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.

¹ Be followers (imitators) of me, even as I also am of Christ. ² Now I praise you, brothers, because you remember me in all things, and carefully follow the teachings (precepts) (doctrine) just as I delivered them to you.

⁷ Jehovah is my strength and my shield. My heart trusted him, so I received help. My heart is triumphant and I thank him with my song.

⁵ Trust in Jehovah with all your heart. Do not lean on your own understanding. ⁶ In all your ways acknowledge (recognize) Him and He will make your paths straight.

³³ »Seek (desire) (require) (serve) first the kingdom of God and his righteousness [continuously] and all these things will be added to you.
