⁷ And he had been a father to Hadassah who is Esther, the daughter of his father's brother: for she had no father or mother. When her father and mother were dead, Mordecai took her for his daughter. She was very beautiful.

¹⁸ »I will not leave you desolate. I will come to you.

²¹ »And when he was cast out, Pharaoh’s daughter took him and nourished him as her own son.

² Beloved, now we are children of God. It is not yet revealed what we will be. We know that when he is revealed we will be like him. We will see him just as he is.

If indeed we suffer with him we may also be glorified with him. ¹⁸ I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that will be revealed in us. ¹⁹ For the earnest expectation of the creation is waiting for the manifestation (revelation) (disclosure) of the sons of God.

²⁶ You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

¹² He gave the right to become children of God to all who received him. Even to those who believe in his name.

¹ Observe the love the Father gave to us that we should be called the children of God. That is what we are! For this reason the world does not know us. This is because it did not know him.

⁸ That is, the children of the flesh are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as seed.

⁵ that he might redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. ⁶ Because you are sons, God sent the spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, Abba, Father. ⁷ So you are no longer slaves but a son. And as a son God has made you an heir.

⁵ »Everyone who accepts this little child in my name accepts me.

⁵ He predetermined (ordained) us to adoption, as sons to himself through Jesus Christ, according to the kind intention of his will.
