² For all these things has my hand made, and so all these things came to be," says the LORD: "but to this man will I look, to him who is humble and of a contrite spirit, and who trembles at my word.

²⁰ So he said to them, "Because of your little faith. For truly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you."

²³ Blessed is he who is not offended by me."

¹⁶ For God loved the world in this way: He gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him would not perish, but have everlasting life.

¹⁴ Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? ¹⁵ What agreement has Christ with Belial? ³ If anyone teaches a different doctrine, and does not consent to sound words, the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness, ⁴ he is conceited, knowing nothing, but obsessed with arguments, disputes, and word battles, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, ⁵ constant friction of people of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain.

⁶ But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.

¹⁹ We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one. ²⁰ We know that the Son of God has come, and has given us an understanding, that we know him who is true, and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. ²¹ Little children, keep yourselves from idols.

²¹ Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

¹⁴ For many are called, but few chosen."

²⁷ Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here, and observe my hands. Reach out your hand, and put it into my side; and do not be unbelieving, but believing." ²⁸ Thomas answered and said to him, "My Lord and my God." ²⁹ Jesus said to him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen, and have believed."

⁵ holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power thereof. Turn away from these, also.

⁸ for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

²² And be merciful on those who doubt,

¹⁵ Do not love the world, neither the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father's love is not in him. ¹⁶ For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not the Father's, but is the world's. ¹⁷ The world is passing away with its lusts, but he who does God's will remains forever.

¹⁶ He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who disbelieves will be condemned.

⁴⁸ He who rejects me, and does not accept my words, has one who judges him. The word that I spoke will judge him on the last day.

¹⁸ The one who believes in him is not judged, but the one who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. ¹⁹ This is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light, because their works were evil.

¹¹ And because of this, God sends them a strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, ¹² in order that all might be judged who did not believe the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

²³ Jesus said to him, "'If you can?' All things are possible to him who believes." ²⁴ Immediately the father of the child cried out and said, "I believe. Help my unbelief." ²⁵ When Jesus saw that a crowd came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to him, "You deaf and mute spirit, I command you, come out of him, and never enter him again."
