¹³ No temptation has taken you except what is common to humanity. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

⁷ Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

But where there are prophecies, they will be done away with. Where there are tongues, they will cease. Where there is knowledge, it will be done away with. ⁹ For we know in part, and we prophesy in part; ¹⁰ but when that which is complete has come, that which is partial will be done away with. ¹¹ When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child. Now that I have become an adult, I have put away childish things. ¹² For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, even as I was also fully known. ¹³ But now faith, hope, and love remain—these three. The greatest of these is love.

¹³ I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

⁴ So you will find favor, and good understanding in the sight of God and man. ⁵ Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.

⁷ The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him.

³ He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.

²⁸ And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

⁷ casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

⁴ And he will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, nor will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the first things have passed away."

¹⁷ The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. ¹⁸ The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. ¹⁹ Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. ²⁰ He protects all of his bones. Not one of them is broken.
