¹⁰ I, the LORD, search the mind, I try the heart, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.

³ And why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? ⁴ Or how will you tell your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye;' and look, the log is in your own eye? ⁵ You hypocrite. First remove the log out of your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother's eye.

⁴⁷ That servant, who knew his lord's will, and did not prepare, nor do what he wanted, will be beaten with many stripes, ⁴⁸ but he who did not know, and did things worthy of stripes, will be beaten with few stripes. To whomever much is given, of him will much be required; and to whom much was entrusted, of him more will be asked.

¹⁰ He who is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much. He who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much. ¹¹ If therefore you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? ¹² If you have not been faithful in that which is another's, who will give you that which is your own?

⁹ Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. ¹⁰ For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn't have another to lift him up. ¹¹ Again, if two lie together, then they have warmth; but how can one keep warm alone? ¹² If a man prevails against one who is alone, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken. ¹³ There is no creature that is hidden from his sight, but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

³⁶ But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. ³⁷ For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."

¹⁷ Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend's countenance.

³ Watch yourselves. If your brother sins, rebuke him. If he repents, forgive him.

¹¹ Therefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as you also do.

¹⁶ Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.

¹² So then each one of us will give account of himself to God.

¹ Brothers, even if someone is caught in some wrongdoing, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to yourself so that you also are not tempted. ² Bear one another's burdens, and so you will fulfill the law of Christ. ³ For if anyone thinks himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. ⁴ But let each one test his own work, and then he will take pride in himself and not in his neighbor. ⁵ For every person will bear his own load.
