³¹ And Jesus said to those Jews who believed on him: If ye continue in my word, ye will be truly my disciples. ³² And ye will know the truth; and the truth will make you free.

¹⁸ For the wrath of God from heaven is revealed against all the iniquity and wickedness of men, who hold the truth in iniquity. ¹⁹ Because a knowledge of God is manifest in them; for God hath manifested it in them. ²⁰ For, from the foundations of the world, the occult things of God are seen, by the intellect, in the things he created, even his eternal power and divinity; so that they might be without excuse;

¹⁷ Therefore, faith is from the hearing of the ear; and the hearing of the ear, is from the word of God.

²¹ Explore every thing, and hold fast the good: ²² and fly from every thing evil.

² And be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed, by the renovation of your minds: and discern ye what is the good and acceptable and perfect pleasure of God.

³⁶ He that believeth on the Son, hath life eternal; but he who obeyeth not the Son, shall not see life. but the wrath of God will abide upon him.

¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him, should not perish, but should have life eternal. ¹⁷ For God sent not his Son into the world, to condemn the world; but that the world might live by means of him. ¹⁸ He that believeth on him is not condemned; but he that believeth not, is already condemned; because he hath not believed on the name of the only begotten Son of God.
