⁵ For verily the bloude of you wherin youre lyues are wyl I require: Euen of the hand of all beastes wyll I requyre it, and of the hande of man and of the hand of euerye mannes brother wyll I requyre the lyfe of man: ⁶ so that he whych sheadeth mans bloud shal haue his bloud shed by man againe: for God made man after hys owne lykenesse.

¹ Of Dauid. Blessed be the Lorde my refuge which teacheth my handes to warre, and my fyngers too fyght.

⁴ For he is the minister of GOD, for thy welth. But and yf thou do euyll, then feare: for he beareth not a swearde for noughte, but is the minister of God, to take vengeaunce on them that do euyll.

¹ Hym that is weake in the fayth, receyue vnto you, not in disputynge and troublyng hys conscience.

³⁰ For we knowe hym that hath sayde: vengeaunce belongeth vnto me. I wyll recompence sayth the lorde. And agayne: the lord shall iudge hys people.

² that they speake euyll of noman that they be no fyghters, but softe, shewynge all meakenes vnto all men. ³ not dronken, no fyghter, not geuen to fylthy lucre: but gentle, abhorrynge fyghtyng, abhorrynge couetousnes,

³¹ Folowe not a wycked man, and chose none of hys wayes:

¹⁸ Violence and robbery shall neuer be heard of in thy land, neither harme and destruccyon within thy borders. The walles shalbe calleth healthe, and thy gate the prayse of God.

³⁸ Ye haue hearde how it is sayed, an eye for an eye: a tothe for a tothe. ³⁹ But I saye to you that ye resyst not wrong. But who soeuer geue the a blowe on the right cheke, tourne to hym the other.

⁵² Then sayed Iesus vnto hym: put vp thy swearde into hys place. For all that laye hand on the swearde, shal perysh with the swerd. ⁵³ Eyther thynkest thou that I can not nowe praye to my father, and he shal geue me more then .xij. legyons of Angelles? ⁵⁴ But how then shoulde the scriptures be fulfylled: for so must it be.

⁵ The Lorde seith bothe the righteous and vngodly, but who so delyteth in wickednes, hym hys soule abhorreth.
