⁸ And they toke vytayles wyth them for the folke, & theyr trompettes. And he sente all the reste of Israel, euery man vnto hys tente, and kepte the thre hundred wyth hym. And the hoste of Madian was beneth hym in a valeye.

¹ Take hede to your almes, that ye geue it not in the sight of men, to the intent that ye would be sene of them. Or els ye get no rewarde of youre father whyche is in heauen. ² Whensoeuer therfore thou geuest thime almes, thou shalt not make a trompet to be blowen before the, as the hypocrytes do in the synagoges and in the stretes, for to be praised of men. Verely I saye vnto you, they haue their rewarde. ³ But when thou doest thine almes, let not thy lyft hande knowe what thy ryght hande doth, ⁴ that thyne almes may be secrete: and thy father whiche seeth in secrete, shall rewarde the openly.

¹³ And the syxte angel blewe, and I hearde a voyce from the .iiij. corners of the golden aultare, which is before God,

¹ After thys I loked, and beholde a dore was open in heauen, and the fyrst voyce which I hearde, was as it were of a trompete, talkynge wyth me which sayd: come vp hether, and I wyll shewe the thynges, whyche must be fulfylled herafter.

¹³ There shall not an hande touch it, but that he shall eyther be stoned or els that thorow: whether it be beast or man, it shall not lyue, when the horne bloweth: than let them come vp into the mountayn.

¹ Agayne, the worde of the Lorde came vnto me, sayinge: ² Thou sonne of man, Speake to the children of thy people, & tell them: When I sende a swearde vpon a lande, yf the people of the lande take a man of their countre, & set him to be their watchman, ³ the same man (whan he seyth the sweard come vpon the lande) shal blowe the trompet, and warne the people. ⁴ If a man now heare the noyse of the trompet, and wil not be warned, and the swearde come and take him awaye: his bloude shall be vpon hys owne head: ⁵ for he hearde the sound of the trompet, and wolde not take hede: therfore hys bloude be vpon hym. But yf he wyll receyue warninge, he shall saue hys lyfe. ⁶ Agayne, yf the watch man se the swearde come and shewe it not wyth the trompet, so that the people is not warned: yf the sweard come then and take any man from amonge them, the same shall be taken awaye in hys owne sinne but hys bloude wyll I requyre of the watchemans hande.

⁵¹ Beholde I shewe you a mysterye. We shal not al slepe: but we shal al be chaunged, ⁵² and that in a momente & in the twinkling of an eye, at the sound of the last trompe. For the trompe shall blowe, and the dead shal rise incorruptible and we shal be chaunged. ⁵³ For this corruptible must put on incorruptibilitie; and this mortal muste put on immortalytye. ⁵⁴ When this corruptible, hath put on incorruptibilitie, and this mortal hath put on immortalite, then shalbe brought to passe the saiyng that is written. ⁵⁵ Death is consumed into victory. Death wher is thy stynge? Hel wher is thy victory?

¹⁵ And the seuenth angell blewe, and there were made greate voyces in heauen, sayinge: the kyngdomes of thys worlde are oure Lordes and hys Christes, & he shall raygne for euer more.

¹³ I woulde not brethren haue you ignoraunt concerninge them whiche are fallen a sleepe, that ye sorowe not as other do which haue no hope. ¹⁴ For yf we beleue that Iesus Christe dyed and rose agayne euen so them also, whyche slepe by Iesus, wyl God brynge agayn with hym. ¹⁵ And thys saye we vnto you in the worde of the Lorde, that we whyche lyue and are remaynynge in the commynge of the Lorde, shal not come yerre they which slepe. ¹⁶ For the Lord hym selfe shall descende from heauen with a shoute, and the voice of the Archangell and trompe of God. And the deade in Christ shall arise fyrste: ¹⁷ then shal we which lyue and remayne, be caught vp with them also in the cloudes, to meate the Lorde in the ayer. And so shall we euer be with the Lord. ¹⁸ Wherfore comforte youre selues one another with these wordes.

⁵² and that in a momente & in the twinkling of an eye, at the sound of the last trompe. For the trompe shall blowe, and the dead shal rise incorruptible and we shal be chaunged.

¹⁵ And the seuenth angell blewe, and there were made greate voyces in heauen, sayinge: the kyngdomes of thys worlde are oure Lordes and hys Christes, & he shall raygne for euer more. ¹⁶ And the .xxiiij. elders, whyche sit before God on their seates, fell vpon theyr faces, and worshipped God, ¹⁷ sayinge: we geue the thankes Lord GOD almyghty, whyche arte and wast, and arte to come, for thou hast receyued thy greate myght and hast reigned. ¹⁸ And the nacyons were angrye, and thy wrath is come, and the tyme of the dead that they shoulde be iudged and that thou shouldeste geue rewarde vnto thy seruauntes the Prophetes and saynctes, and to them that feare thy name small and greate, and shouldeste destroye them, whyche destroye the earth.
