¹ Every thynge hath a tyme, yea all that is vnder the heauen, hath his conuenient season. ² Their is a tyme to be borne, & a tyme to dye. Ther is tyme to plant, and a time to plucke vp the thing, that is planted. ³ A tyme to slay, and a tyme to make whole. A time to breake down, & a time to bild vp. ⁴ A time to wepe, and a time to laugh: A time to mourne, and a tyme to daunce: ⁵ A time to cast away stones, and a tyme to gather stones together: A tyme to enbrace, and a tyme to refrayne from enbrasyng. ⁶ A time to win, and a tyme to lose: A time to spare, and a tyme to spend: ⁷ A time to cut in peces, and a time to sowe together: A time to kepe silence, and a time to speake: ⁸ A tyme to loue, and a tyme to hate: A tyme of war, and time of peace:

¹³ The God of hope fil you with all ioye, and peace in beleuynge, that ye maye be ryche in hope thorowe the power of the holye ghoste.

¹ There is then no damnation to them which are in Christ Iesu, which walke not after the flesh: but after the spirite. ² For the law of the spirite that bringeth lyfe through lyfe through Iesus Christe, hath delyuered me from the lawe of synne & death. ³ For what the lawe coulde not do in as much as it was weake because of the fleshe: that performed God, and sente hys sonne in the similitude of synfull fleshe, ⁴ and by synne dampned synne in the fleshe: that the ryghtuousnes requyred of the law myghte be fulfylled in vs, which walke not after the flesh but after the spirite. ⁵ For they that are carnally, are carnally mynded. But they that are spirituall, are ghostly minded. ⁶ To be carnally mynded is death. But to be spiritually minded is lyfe and peace. ⁷ Because that the fleshlye minde is enemy agaynste God: for it is not obediente to the lawe of God, neyther can be. ⁸ So then they that are geuen to the fleshe, can not please God. ⁹ But ye are not geuen to the fleshe, but to the spirite yf so be that the spirite of God dwell in you. Yf there be any man that hath not the spirite of Christ, the same is none of hys. ¹⁰ Yf Christe be in you, the bodye is deade because of synne: but the spirite is lyfe for ryghtuousnes sake. ¹¹ Wherfore yf the spirit of him that raysed vp Iesus frome deathe dwell in you, euen he that raysed vp Christe from death shall quicken your mortall bodyes, because that his spirite dwelleth in you. ¹² Therfore brethren we are nowe detters not to the fleshe, ¹³ to lyue after the fleshe. For yf ye liue after the, fleshe, ye muste dye. But if ye mortifye the dedes of the bodye, by the helpe of the spirite, ye shall liue. ¹⁴ For as many as are led by the spirite of God: ¹⁵ they are the sonnes of God. For ye haue not receiued the spirite of bondage to feare anye more: but ye haue receiued the spirite of adoption, where by we crye Abba father. ¹⁶ The same spirite certifieth oure spirite that we are the sonnes of God. ¹⁷ Yf we be sonnes, we are also heyres, the heyres I meane of God, and heyres annexed with Christe yf so be that we suffer together, that we maye be glorified together. ¹⁸ For I suppose that the afflictions of thys lyfe are not worthy of the glory which shall be shewed vpon vs. ¹⁹ Also the feruente desyre of the creatures abydeth lokynge when the sonnes of God shal appere, ²⁰ because the creatures are subdued to vanitie agaynst their wyl but for his will which subdueth them in hope. ²¹ For the verye creatures shall be deliuered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious libertye of the sonnes of God. ²² For we knowe that euerye creature groneth with vs also & traueyleth in payne euen vnto this tyme. ²³ Not they onely, but euen we also which haue the fyrst fruytes of the spirite, mourne in oure selues and wayte for the (adoption) & luke for the deliueraunce of oure bodyes. ²⁴ For we are saued by hope, But hope that is sene is no hope. For howe can a man hope for that which he seyth? ²⁵ But and yf we hope for that we se not, then do we with pacience abyde for yt. ²⁶ Lykewyse the spirite also helpeth our infirmityes. For we knowe not what to desyre as we ought: but the spirite maketh intercession mightelye for vs wyth gronynges whiche can not be expressed with tonge. ²⁷ And he that searcheth the hertes knoweth what is the meanynge of the spirite: for he maketh intercession for the sayntes accordinge to the pleasure of God. ²⁸ For we knowe that all thynges worke for the beste vnto them that loue God, whyche also are called of purpose. ²⁹ For those which he knewe before he also ordeyned before, that they shoulde be like fashioned vnto the shape of hys sonne that he myght be the fyrste begotten sonne amonge manye brethren. ³⁰ More ouer whiche he appointed before, them he also called. And which he called, them also he iustified, whiche he iustified, them he also glorifyed. ³¹ What shall we then say vnto these thynges? yf God be on oure syde: who can be agaynste vs? ³² whyche spared not his owne sonne but gaue hym for vs all: how shall he not wyth hym geue vs all thynges also? ³³ Who shall laye anye thynge to the charg of Goddes chosen? It is God that iustifieth ³⁴ who then shall condempne? It is Christe whyche is dead, ye rather which is rysen agayne, which is also on the right hande of God, and maketh intercession for vs. ³⁵ Who shall seperate vs from the loue of God shall tribulation? or anguyshe? or persecution? othere honger? other nakednesse? other peryll? other swearde? ³⁶ As it is wrytten: For thy sake are we killed al day longe, and are counted as shepe appointed to be slayne. ³⁷ Neuerthelesse in all these thynges we ouercome stronglye thorowe hys helpe that loued vs. ³⁸ Yea and I am sure that neyther death, neither life, neyther angels, nor rule, neythere power, neythere thinges presente, neyther thynges to come, ³⁹ neyther heyght, neyther loweth, neyther any other creature? shall be able to depart vs from the lowe of God, shewed in Christ Iesu our Lord.

²² To the weake became I as weake, to wynne the weake. In all thinge I fashioned my selfe to all men, to saue at the lest waye some.

⁴ whiche comforteth vs in all oure tribulacion, in so muche that we are able to comforte them, which are troubled in whatsoeuer tribulation it be, with the same comforte wherwith we our selues are comforted of God. ⁵ For as the affliccions of Christ are plenteous in vs: euen so is our consolacion plenteous by Christe. ⁶ Whether we be troubled for youre consolacion & saluacion, whiche saluacion, sheweth her power in that ye suffer the same afflictions which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted for your consolacion, and saluation, ⁷ yet oure hope is stedfast for you, in as muche as we knowe howe that as ye haue youre parte in affliccions, so shall ye be partakers of consolacion. ⁸ Brethren I woulde not haue you ignoraunt of oure trouble, whiche happened vnto vs in Asia. For we were greued out of measure passinge strength, so greatlye that we despeared euen of lyfe. ⁹ Also we receiued and aunswere of death in our selues, and that because we woulde not put oure truste in oure selues: but in God, whiche rayseth the dead to lyfe again,

²⁰ Vnto hym that is able to do excedinge aboundantly aboue all that we are or thinke, accordinge to the power that worketh in vs, ²¹ be prayse in the congregation by Iesus Christe, thorowout al generacions, from time to time. Amen.

⁵ not of the dedes of rightuousnes, which we wrought but of hys mercy he saued vs, by the fountayne of the newe byrth, & with the renuyng of the holye ghost,

¹⁴ And this is the truste that we haue in him, that yf we axe any thinge, accordinge to hys will he heareth vs.

¹⁷ that the man of God maye be perfecte and prepared vnto all good workes.

¹² Not as though I had alreadie atteined to it, either were already perfecte: but I folowe yf that I maye comprehende that, wherin I am comprehended of Christ Iesu.

⁸ And the Lorde he shall go before the and he shall be with the, and wyll not let the go nor forsake the, feare not therfore nor be discomforted.

¹³ Enter in at the strayte gate: for wide is the gate and broade is the way that leadeth to destruction: and many there be whiche go in therat. ¹⁴ But strayt is the gate, and narrowe is the waye which leadeth vnto lyfe: & feawe there be that fynde it.

¹⁰ For we are his worckmanshyp created in Christe Iesus to good workes, vnto the, whyche God ordeined vs before, that we should walke in them.

⁵ Put thy trust in the Lord wyth all thyne hert, and leane not vnto thyne own vnderstandinge.

¹¹ For I knowe what I haue deuysed for you sayeth the Lorde. My thoughtes are to geue you peace, and not trouble (whiche I geue you all redye) & that ye might haue hope agayn. ¹² Ye shal crye vnto me, ye shall go & call vpon me, & I shall heare you. ¹³ Ye shall seke me & fynde me, Yea, yf so be that ye seke me with your whole herte,

⁶ Be not carefull: but in all thinges shewe your petition vnto God in prayer and supplication, wyth geuinge of thankes. ⁷ And the peace of God, whiche passeth al vnderstandynge, kepe your hertes and myndes in Chryste Iesu.

¹¹ For I knowe what I haue deuysed for you sayeth the Lorde. My thoughtes are to geue you peace, and not trouble (whiche I geue you all redye) & that ye might haue hope agayn.

⁸ The ende of a thyng is better then the begynnynge. The pacient of spirite is better then the hye mynded. ⁹ Be not hastelye angrye in thy mynde, for wrath resteth in the bosome of a foole. ¹⁰ Saye not thou: What is the cause that the dayes of the olde tyme were better, then they that be now? for that were no wyse question. ¹¹ Wysdome is better then ritches, yea much more worth then the eye syght.

⁹ Beholde, I haue sayde vnto the, be strong and bolde: neyther feare, nor dreade. For the Lorde thy God is with the whether soeuer thou goest.
