Romans 12:1-2

1 I beseche you therfore brethren, by the mercyfulnes of God, that ye make your bodyes a quicke sacrifyce holye and acceptable vnto God, which is youre reasonable seruynge of God: 2 And fashyon not youre selues lyke vnto thys worlde. But be ye chaunged in youre shape, by the renuynge of youre wyttes, that ye may fele what thynge that good, that acceptable, and perfect wyll of God is.

Luke 14:10-11

10 But rather when thou arte bydden, go and sit in the lowest roume, that when he that bade the, commeth, he maye saye vnto the frende sit vp hyer. Then shalte thou haue worshyppe in the preseuce of them that sitte at meat with the. 11 For whosoeuer exalteth him selfe, shalbe broughte lowe. And he that humbleth him selfe, shalbe exalted.

1 Corinthians 13:12

12 Nowe we se in a glasse euen in a darke speakinge, but then shall we se face to face. Nowe I knowe vnperfectlye, but then shall I knowe euen as I am knowen.

2 Corinthians 3:18

18 But we all beholde the glorye of the Lorde with hys face open, and chaunged vnto the same similitude, from glorye to glory, euen of the spirite of the Lorde.

1 Corinthians 11:1-34

1 Folowe me, as I do Christe. 2 I commende you brethren that ye remembre me in al thinges, & kepe the ordinaunces euen as I deliuered them to you. 3 I woulde you knewe that Christ is the heade of euery man. And the man is the womans heade. And God is Christes heade. 4 Euery man praiynge or prophesiynge hauing any thinge on his heade, shameth his head. 5 Euery woman that prayeth or prophesyeth bare headed, dishonesteth her heade. For it is euen all one, and the very same thinge, euen as though she were shauen. 6 If the woman be not couered, let her also be shoren. If it be shame for a woman to be shorne or shauen let her couer her head. 7 A man oughte not to couer his heade, for as muche as he is the ymage and glorye of God. The woman is the glorye of the man. 8 For the man is not of the woman, but the woman of the man. 9 Neither was the man created for the womans sake: but the woman for the mannes sake. 10 For thys cause ought the woman to haue power on her heade, for the aungels sakes. 11 Neuerthelesse, neyther is the man wythout the woman neyther the woman wythout the man in the Lorde. 12 For as the woman is of the man, euen so is the man by the woman: but al is of God. 13 Iudge in your selfes whether it be comelye, that a woman praye vnto God beare headed. 14 Or els doeth not nature teache you that it is a shame for a man, 15 yf he haue longe heyr, & prayse to a woman, yf she haue longe heyre? For her heyre is geuen her to couer her wythall. 16 If there be anye man amonge you, that lusteth to striue let hym knowe that we haue no suche custome, neither the congregations of God. 17 This I warne you of, and commende not that ye come together: not after a better maner but after a worsse. 18 Fyrste of all when ye come together in the congregacion, I heare that there is dyssencyon amonge you, and I partely, beleue it. 19 For there muste be sectes amonge you, that they whyche are perfecte amonge you, myghte be knowen. 20 When ye come together a man can not eate the Lordes supper. For euery man beginneth afore to eate hys owne supper. 21 And one is houngerye, and another is drounken. Haue ye not houses to eate and to drinke in? 22 Or els despise ye the congregacion of God and shame them that haue not? What shall I saye vnto you? shall I prayse you: In thys prayse I you not. 23 That whiche I delyuered you, I receiued of the Lorde. For the Lorde Iesus the same nyght, in whyche he was betrayed, toke breade, 24 and thanked and brake, and sayde. Take ye, eate ye thys is my bodye whiche is broken for you. Thys do ye in the remembraunce of me. 25 After the same maner he toke the cuppe, when supper was done, saying. Thys cuppe is the newe testamente in my bloude. Thys do as ofte as ye drynke it, in the remembraunce of me. 26 For as often as ye shal eate thys breade, and drincke this cuppe, ye shall shewe the Lordes death tyll he come. 27 Wherfore whosoeuer shall eate of this bread, or drinke of the cuppe vnworthely, shall be gyltie of the bodye and bloude of the Lorde. 28 Let a man therfore examen hym selfe, and so let hym eate of the breade and drynke of the cuppe. 29 For he that eateth or drinketh vnworthelye, eateth and drynketh his owne dampnation, because he maketh no difference of the Lordes bodye. 30 For this cause manye are weake and sycke amonge you, and manye slepe. 31 Yf we had truely iudged our selues, we should not haue ben iudged. 32 But when we are iudged of the Lorde, we are chastened, because we shoulde not be dampued wyth the worlde. 33 Wherfore my brethren, when ye come together to eate, tary one for another. 34 If any man hunger, let hym eate at home, that ye come not together vnto condempnation. Other thynges wil I set in order when I come.

Ephesians 5:1-33

1 Be ye folowers of God as deare children, 2 and walke in loue euen as Christe loued vs, and gaue hym selfe for vs, an offeringe, and a sacrifice of a swete sauoure to God. 3 So that fornicacion and vncleanes, or couetousnes be not ones named amonge you, as it becommeth sainctes: 4 neyther fylthynes, neyther folyshe talkinge, neither gestinge whiche are not comely: but rather geuinge of thankes. 5 For this ye knowe, that no whormonger, other vncleane persone, or couetous person, whyche is the worshypper of Images, hath anye inheritaunce in the kyngdome of Christe and of God. 6 Let no man deceiue you with vayne wordes. For thorowe suche thinges commeth the wrath of God vpon the children of vnbelefe. 7 Be not therfore companions wyth them. 8 Ye were ones darckenes, but are nowe lyghte in the Lorde. Walke as chyldren of lyghte. 9 For the fruite of the spirite is in all goodnes, ryghtuousnes and trueth. 10 Accepte that whiche is pleasinge to the Lorde: 11 and haue no fellowshyp wyth the vnfruitfull workes of darckenes: but rather rebuke them. 12 For it is shame euen to name those thinges, whiche are done of them in secrete: 13 but all thinges, when they are rebuked of the lyghte are manifeste. For what soeuer is manifeste, that same is lyght. 14 Wherfore he sayth: awake thou that slepest, and stand vp from death, and Christ shall geue the lyght. 15 Take hede therfore that ye walke circumspectlye: not as foles, but as wyse 16 redeminge the time, for the dayes are iuel. 17 Wherfore be ye not vnwise, but vnderstande what the wyll of the Lorde is, 18 and be not drounke wt wyne. wherin is excesse, but be fulfylled wyth the spirite, 19 speakinge vnto your selues in Psalmes, and Hymnes, and spiritual sounges, singing and makinge melodye to the Lorde in your hertes, 20 geuinge thankes alwayes for al thinges vnto God the father, in the name of oure Lorde Iesu Christe, 21 submittinge your selues one to another in the feare of God. 22 Women submitte youre selues vnto your owne husbandes, as vnto the Lorde. 23 For the husbande is the wyues head, euen as Christe is the heade of the congregation, and the same is the sauiour of the body. 24 Therfore as the congregation is in subieccion to Christe, lykewyse let the wyues be in subieccion to theyr husbandes in all thynges. 25 Husbandes loue youre wyues, euen as Christe loued the congregation, and gaue him selfe for it, 26 to sanctifye it, and cleansed it in the fountayne of water thorowe the worde 27 to make it vnto hym selfe a glorious congregation wythout spotte or wrinckle, or anye suche thinge: but that it shoulde be holy and wythout blame. 28 So ought men to loue theyr wyues, as their owne bodies. He that loueth hys wyfe, loueth him selfe. 29 For no man euer yet hated hys owne fleshe, but norisheth and cherisseth it euen as the Lorde doeth the congregation. 30 For we are members of his bodie, of his fleshe, and of hys bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leaue father and mother, and shall continue wyth hys wyfe, and two shalbe made one fleshe. 32 Thys is a greate secrete, but I speake betwene Christe and the congregation. 33 Neuerthelesse do ye so that euerye one of you loue his wyfe truely euen as hym selfe: And let the wyfe se that she feare her husbande.
