Romans 4:15

15 Because the lawe causeth wrath. For where no lawe is, there is no transgressyon.

1 Peter 2:1-25

1 Wherfore laye a syde all malycyousnes, and all gyle, and dyssymulacyon, and enuye, and all backbytynge: 2 and as newe bourne babes, desyre that reasonable mylke whiche is wythout corrupcyon that ye maye growe therein. 3 If so be that ye haue tasted howe pleasaunt the Lorde is, 4 to whome ye come as vnto a lyuinge stone dysalowed of men, but chosen of God and precyous: 5 and ye as lyuynge stones, are made a spirytuall housse, and an holye priesthode, for to offer vp spyrytuall sacryfyce, acceptable to God by Iesus Christe. 6 Wherfore it is contained in the scrypture: beholde, I put in Syon an head corner stone, electe and precyous: and he that beleueth on hym, shall not be ashamed. 7 Vnto you therfor whiche beleue, he is precyous, but vnto them whiche beleue not, the stone whiche the buylders refused the same is made the head stone in the corner, 8 and a stone to stomble at, and a rocke to offende them whiche stomble at the word, and beleue not that whereon they were set. 9 But ye are a chosen generacyon, a royall priesthode, an holye nacyon and a peculyar people that ye shoulde shewe the vertues of hym that called you oute of darkenes into his marueylous lyght, 10 whiche in tyme past were not vnder mercye, but nowe haue obtayned mercye. 11 Dearely beloued, I beseche you as straungers and pylgremes, obstayne from fleshely lustes, which fyght agaynste the soule, 12 and se that ye haue honest conuersacyon amonge the Gentyls, that they whiche backbyte you as euyll doars, maye se youre good workes and prayse God in the daye of visitacyon. 13 Submyt youre selues vnto all maner ordinaunce of man for the Lordes sake, whether it be vnto the kynge as vnto the chiefe heade: 14 other vnto rulars, as vnto them that are sent of hym, for the punyshemente of euyll doars: but for the laude of them that do wel. 15 For so is the wyll of God, that ye put to sylence the ignorauncye of the folyshe men: 16 as fre, and not as hauynge the lybertye for a cloke of maliciousnes, but euen as the seruauntes of God. 17 Honoure all men. Loue brotherlye felowship. Feare God, and honour the kynge. 18 Seruauntes obeye your maysters wyth al feare, not onelye yf they be good, and courteous: but also thoughe they be frowarde. 19 For it is thanke worthy yf a man for conscience towarde God endure griefe, suffering wrongfullye. 20 For what prayse is it, yf when ye be buffeted for your faultes, ye take it pacientlye? But and yf when ye do well, ye suffre wrong and take it pacyently, then is there thanke wt God. 21 for here vnto verelye were ye called: for Christe also suffered for vs, leauynge vs an ensample that we shoulde folowe his steppes, 22 whiche dyd no synne, neyther was there gyle founde in hys mouth: 23 which when he was reuyled, reuyled not agayne: when he suffered, he threatened not: but commytted the cause to him that iudgeth ryghtuously, 24 which hys owne selfe bare oure synnes in hys body on the tree, that we shoulde be delyuered from synne, and shoulde lyue in ryghtuousnes. By whose strypes ye were healed. 25 For ye were as shepe goynge astraye: but are nowe returned to the shepeherde and byshop of your soules.

2 Samuel 22:31

31 The waye of God is vndefyled, and the worde of the Lorde fyned as golde, and he a shylde to all that trust in him.

Luke 16:15

15 And he sayde vnto them: Ye are they whiche iustifye your selues before men: but God knoweth your hertes. For that which is highly estemed amonge men, is abhominable in the syght of God.

1 Corinthians 2:1-16

1 And I brethren when I came to you, came not in gloriousnes of wordes, or of wysdome, shewynge vnto you the testimonye of God. 2 Neither shewed I my selfe that I knew any thinge amonge you saue Iesus Christe, euen the same that was crucified. 3 And I was amonge you in weaknes, & in feare and in muche tremblinge. 4 And my wordes and my preachinge were not wyth entisynge wordes of mannes wysdome but in shewinge of the spirite, and of power, 5 that youre fayth shoulde not stande in the wysdome of men, but in the power of God. 6 That we speake of, is wisdome amonge that are perfecte: not the wisdome of this world (whiche go to nought) 7 but we speake that wysdome of God, whiche is in secrete and lyeth hyd, whiche God ordeined before the world vnto oure glory, 8 whiche wisdome none of the rulars of this worlde knewe. For had they knowen it, they would not haue crucified the Lorde of Glorye. 9 But as it was written: The eye hath not sene, and the eare hath not hearde, neither haue entred into the herte of man the thinges, which God hath prepared for them that loue him. 10 But God hath opened them to vs by hys spirite. For the spirite searcheth al thinges, ye the bottome of Goddes secretes. 11 For what man knoweth the thynges of a man, saue the spyryte of a man, whiche is wythin him. Euen so the thinges of God knoweth no man, but the spirite of God. 12 And we haue not receiued the spirite of the world: but the spyryte whiche cometh of God, for to knowe the thinges, that are geuen to vs of God, 13 which thinges also we speake, not in the conninge wordes of mannes wysdome, but wyth the conning wordes of the holye ghost, makinge spyritual comparisons of spirituall thinges. 14 For the naturall man perceiueth not the thinges of the spyrite of God. For they are but folishnes vnto him. Neither can he perceiue them, because he is spiritually examined. 15 But he that is spyrytuall, discusseth all thinges: yet he hym selfe is iudged of no man. 16 For who knoweth the minde of the Lorde? other who shall informe him? But we vnderstand the minde of Christ.

Galatians 3:3

3 Are ye so vnwyse that after ye haue begonne in the spyryte, ye woulde nowe ende in the fleshe?

James 3:2

2 for in many thinges we synne all. Yf a man synne not in worde, the same is a perfect man and able to tame al the bodye.

Ecclesiastes 7:20

20 for there is not one iuste vpon earth, that doth good, and synneth not.

1 John 1:9

9 If we knowledge oure sinnes, he is faythfull and iust, to forgeue vs our sinnes, and to clense vs from al vnrightuousnes.

Philippians 3:12-14

12 Not as though I had alreadie atteined to it, either were already perfecte: but I folowe yf that I maye comprehende that, wherin I am comprehended of Christ Iesu. 13 Brethren I count not my selfe that I haue gotten it: but one thinge I say. I forget that, whiche is behinde, & stretche my selfe vnto that whiche is before, 14 and prease vnto the marke appointed, to obteine the reward of the high callinge of God in Christe Iesu.

Romans 8:1-39

1 There is then no damnation to them which are in Christ Iesu, which walke not after the flesh: but after the spirite. 2 For the law of the spirite that bringeth lyfe through lyfe through Iesus Christe, hath delyuered me from the lawe of synne & death. 3 For what the lawe coulde not do in as much as it was weake because of the fleshe: that performed God, and sente hys sonne in the similitude of synfull fleshe, 4 and by synne dampned synne in the fleshe: that the ryghtuousnes requyred of the law myghte be fulfylled in vs, which walke not after the flesh but after the spirite. 5 For they that are carnally, are carnally mynded. But they that are spirituall, are ghostly minded. 6 To be carnally mynded is death. But to be spiritually minded is lyfe and peace. 7 Because that the fleshlye minde is enemy agaynste God: for it is not obediente to the lawe of God, neyther can be. 8 So then they that are geuen to the fleshe, can not please God. 9 But ye are not geuen to the fleshe, but to the spirite yf so be that the spirite of God dwell in you. Yf there be any man that hath not the spirite of Christ, the same is none of hys. 10 Yf Christe be in you, the bodye is deade because of synne: but the spirite is lyfe for ryghtuousnes sake. 11 Wherfore yf the spirit of him that raysed vp Iesus frome deathe dwell in you, euen he that raysed vp Christe from death shall quicken your mortall bodyes, because that his spirite dwelleth in you. 12 Therfore brethren we are nowe detters not to the fleshe, 13 to lyue after the fleshe. For yf ye liue after the, fleshe, ye muste dye. But if ye mortifye the dedes of the bodye, by the helpe of the spirite, ye shall liue. 14 For as many as are led by the spirite of God: 15 they are the sonnes of God. For ye haue not receiued the spirite of bondage to feare anye more: but ye haue receiued the spirite of adoption, where by we crye Abba father. 16 The same spirite certifieth oure spirite that we are the sonnes of God. 17 Yf we be sonnes, we are also heyres, the heyres I meane of God, and heyres annexed with Christe yf so be that we suffer together, that we maye be glorified together. 18 For I suppose that the afflictions of thys lyfe are not worthy of the glory which shall be shewed vpon vs. 19 Also the feruente desyre of the creatures abydeth lokynge when the sonnes of God shal appere, 20 because the creatures are subdued to vanitie agaynst their wyl but for his will which subdueth them in hope. 21 For the verye creatures shall be deliuered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious libertye of the sonnes of God. 22 For we knowe that euerye creature groneth with vs also & traueyleth in payne euen vnto this tyme. 23 Not they onely, but euen we also which haue the fyrst fruytes of the spirite, mourne in oure selues and wayte for the (adoption) & luke for the deliueraunce of oure bodyes. 24 For we are saued by hope, But hope that is sene is no hope. For howe can a man hope for that which he seyth? 25 But and yf we hope for that we se not, then do we with pacience abyde for yt. 26 Lykewyse the spirite also helpeth our infirmityes. For we knowe not what to desyre as we ought: but the spirite maketh intercession mightelye for vs wyth gronynges whiche can not be expressed with tonge. 27 And he that searcheth the hertes knoweth what is the meanynge of the spirite: for he maketh intercession for the sayntes accordinge to the pleasure of God. 28 For we knowe that all thynges worke for the beste vnto them that loue God, whyche also are called of purpose. 29 For those which he knewe before he also ordeyned before, that they shoulde be like fashioned vnto the shape of hys sonne that he myght be the fyrste begotten sonne amonge manye brethren. 30 More ouer whiche he appointed before, them he also called. And which he called, them also he iustified, whiche he iustified, them he also glorifyed. 31 What shall we then say vnto these thynges? yf God be on oure syde: who can be agaynste vs? 32 whyche spared not his owne sonne but gaue hym for vs all: how shall he not wyth hym geue vs all thynges also? 33 Who shall laye anye thynge to the charg of Goddes chosen? It is God that iustifieth 34 who then shall condempne? It is Christe whyche is dead, ye rather which is rysen agayne, which is also on the right hande of God, and maketh intercession for vs. 35 Who shall seperate vs from the loue of God shall tribulation? or anguyshe? or persecution? othere honger? other nakednesse? other peryll? other swearde? 36 As it is wrytten: For thy sake are we killed al day longe, and are counted as shepe appointed to be slayne. 37 Neuerthelesse in all these thynges we ouercome stronglye thorowe hys helpe that loued vs. 38 Yea and I am sure that neyther death, neither life, neyther angels, nor rule, neythere power, neythere thinges presente, neyther thynges to come, 39 neyther heyght, neyther loweth, neyther any other creature? shall be able to depart vs from the lowe of God, shewed in Christ Iesu our Lord.

1 John 1:8

8 If we saye that we haue no sinne, we deceiue oure selues, and trueth is not in vs.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10

9 And he sayde vnto me: my grace is suffycyent for the. For my strengthe is made perfecte thorowe weakenes. Very gladly therfor wil I reioyce of my weakenes, that the strength of Christe maye dwell in me 10 Therfore haue I delectacyon in infyrmities, in rebukes, in nede, in persecutions, in anguyshe, for Christes sake. For when I am weake, then am I stronge.
