¹ Come to the waters all ye, that be thurstye, & ye that haue no money. Come, bye, that ye maye haue to eate. Come bye wine & mylcke, without any money or money worth. ² Wherfore do ye laye oute youre moneye, for the thing that fedeth not, and spende youre laboure aboute the thynge that satisfyed you not. But herken rather vnto me, & ye shall eate of the beste, & youre soule shall haue her pleasure in plentuousnes.

⁴ And easter a feast of the Iewes was nye.

²² But the frute of the spiryte, is loue, ioye peace, longe sufferynge, gentylnes, goodnes, faithfulnes, ²³ mekenes, temperauncye. Against suche there is no lawe. ²⁴ They that are Christes haue crucyfyed the fleshe with the appetytes and lustes.

³ And the elder women lykewyse, that they be in such rayment as becommeth holynes, not false accusars, not geuen to muche drynkynge, but teachers of honest thinges ⁴ to make the yong women sobre mynded, to loue theyr husbandes, to loue their chyldren, ⁵ to be dyscret, chast, huswyfly, good & obedyent vnto theyr owne husbandes, that the word of God be not euyl spoken of.

² Beloued, I wyshe in all thynges, that thou prosperedst, and faredest well euen as thy soule prospereth.

³⁴ Take hede to your selues, lest youre hertes be ouercome with surfetinge and dronkenes and cares of this worlde: and that that day come not on you vnwares.

¹⁶ I saye: walke in the spyryte, and fulfyl not the lustes of the fleshe.

¹⁹ whose ende is dampnation, whose God is theyr belye, and whose glorye is to theyr shame, whiche are worldlye minded.

² Measure thine appetite: and if thou wilt rule thyne owne selfe,

⁸ Remoue fro me vanite and lyes: geue me neither pouerte nor ryches, onely graunte me a necessary lyuyng.

¹⁹ Either knowe ye not howe that youre bodies are the temple of the holye ghoste, whyche is in you, whome ye haue of God, and how that ye are not your owne? ²⁰ For ye are dearlye boughte. Therfore glorifye ye God in youre bodyes, and in youre spyrytes, for they are Goddes.
