Bible verses about "judgemental" | Matthew

Romans 2:1-29

1 Therfore arte thou inexcusable (O man) whosoeuer thou be that iudgest. For in that same wherin thou iudgest another, thou condemnest thy selfe. For thou that iudgeste doest euen the same selfe thynges. 2 But we are sure that the iudgement of God is accordynge to trueth agaynst them, which committe suche thinges. 3 Thinkest thou this (O thou man that iudgeste them, whiche do suche thinges) and yet dost euen the very same, that thou shalt escape the iudgement of God? 4 Eyther despysest thou the riches of hys goodnes, pacience and longe sufferaunce? and remembreste not howe that the kindnes of God leadeth the to repentaunce? 5 But thou after thyne harde herte that can not repente, heapeste the together the treasure of wrath againste the daye of vengaunce, when shall be opened the rightuous iudgement of God, 6 whyche wyll rewarde euerye man according to hys dedes: 7 that is to say, prayse, honoure and immortalytye, to them whyche continue in good doynge and seke eternall lyfe. 8 But vnto them that are rebellious and disobey the trueth, and folowe iniquitie, shall come indignacion and wrath, 9 tribulacion and anguishe, vpon the souls of euerye man that doeth euyll: of the Iewe fyrst, and also of the gentyll. 10 To euery man that doth good, shall come prayse, honoure, and peace, to the Iewe fyrst, and also to the gentil. 11 For ther is no parcialitie with God. But whosoeuer hath synned without lawe, 12 shall perishe wythout lawe. And as many as haue synned vnder the lawe, shalbe iudged by the law. 13 For before God they are not ryghtuous whiche heare the lawe: but the doers of the lawe shalbe iustifyed. 14 For yf the Gentyls whiche haue no lawe do of nature the thinges contayned in the lawe: then they hauynge no lawe, are a law vnto them selues, 15 which shew the dedes of the lawe wrytten in theyr hertes: whyle theyr conscience beareth witnes vnto them, and also theyr thoughtes, accusyng one another, or excusynge 16 at the daye when God shall iudge the secretes of men by Iesus Christ accordynge to my Gospell. 17 Beholde, thou art called a Iewe, and trustest in the lawe, and reioysest in God, 18 & knowest hys wyll, and haste experience of good, and bad, in that thou arte infourmed by the lawe, 19 and beleuest that thou thy selfe arte a guyde vnto the blynde, a lyght to them which are in darknes, 20 an infourmer of them whiche lacke discrecyon, a teacher of vnlearned, which haste the ensample of that whiche ought to be knowen, and of the trueth, in the lawe. 21 But thou whiche teachest not another, teacheste not thy selfe. Thou preachest, a man shoulde not steale, and yet thou stealest. 22 Thou sayst, a man shoulde not commyt aduoutrye: and thou breakest wedlocke. Thou abhorreste ymages, and robeste God of hys honoure. 23 Thou reioysest in the lawe and thorow breakynge the law, dishonourest God. 24 For the name of god is euyll spoken of amonge the gentyls thorow you, as it is wrytten. 25 Circumcysyon verelye auayleth, yf thou kepe the lawe. But yf thou breake the lawe, thy circumcysyon is made vncircumcisyon. 26 Therfore yf the vncircumcised kepe the right thynges conteyned in the lawe: shall not hys vncircumcysyon be counted for circumcision? 27 And shall not vncircumcysyon whiche is by nature (yf it kepe the lawe) iudge the, whiche beynge vnder the letter and circumcysyon, doest transgresse the lawe? 28 For he is not a Iewe, whiche is a Iewe outwarde. Neyther is that thynge circumcysyon, whiche is outewarde in the fleshe: 29 but he is a Iewe, which is hyd within, and the circumcisyon of the herte is the true circumcisyon, whiche is in the spirite & not in the letter, whose prayse is not of men, but of God.

James 2:12-13

12 So speake ye, and so do, as they that shalbe iudged by the lawe of lybertye. 13 For there shalbe iudgemente mercyles to hym, that sheweth no mercy, & mercy reioyseth against iudgemente.

Ecclesiastes 7:8-9

8 The ende of a thyng is better then the begynnynge. The pacient of spirite is better then the hye mynded. 9 Be not hastelye angrye in thy mynde, for wrath resteth in the bosome of a foole.

Matthew 7:1

1 Ivdge not, that ye be not iudged.

Luke 6:37

37 Iudge not and ye shall not be iudged. Condemne not, and ye shall not be condemned. Forgeue you, ye shalbe forgeuen.

Romans 14:1-23

1 Hym that is weake in the fayth, receyue vnto you, not in disputynge and troublyng hys conscience. 2 One beleued that he maye eate all thynge. Another whiche is weake, eateth herbes. 3 Let not hym that eateth, dispyse hym that eateth not. And let not hym whiche eateth not, iudge him that eateth. For God hath receyued hym, 4 What arte thou, that iudgeste another mans seruaunte? Whether he stande or fall that pertayneth vnto hys mayster: yea he shall stande. For God is able to make him stande. 5 Thys man putteth difference betwene day and daye. Another man counted all dayes a lyke. Se that no man wauer in hys owne meanynge. 6 He that obserueth one daye more then another, doth it for the Lordes pleasure. And he that obserueth not one day more then another, doeth it to please the Lorde also. He that eateth, doeth it to please the Lorde, for he geueth God thankes. 7 And he that eateth not, eateth not to please the Lorde with all, & geueth God thankes. 8 For none of vs lyueth his owne seruaunt: neyther doeth anye of vs dye hys owne seruaunte. Yf we lyue, we lyue to be at the Lordes wyll. And yf we dye, we dye at the Lordes wyll. Whether we lyue therfore or dye, we are the Lordes. 9 For Christe therfore dyed, and rose agayne, and reuyued that he myght be Lord both of dead & quicke. 10 But why doest thou then iudge thy brother? Other why doeste thou despyse thy brother? We shall all be brought before the iudgement seate of Christe. 11 For it is wrytten: as truelye as I lyue sayth the Lorde: all knees shall bowe to me, and all tonges shall geue a knowledge to God. 12 So shall euery one of vs, geue accomptes of hym selfe to GOD. 13 Let vs not therfore iudge one another anye more. But iudge thys rather, that no man put a stumblynge blocke or an occasyon to falle in hys brothers waye. 14 For I knowe and am ful certifyed in the Lorde Iesus, that there is nothynge comen of it selfe, but vnto hym that iudgeth it to be commen: to hym is it comen. 15 Yf thy brother be greued with thy meat, now walkest thou not charytablye. Destroye not him with thy meate, for whome Christ dyed. 16 Cause not youre treasure to be euyll spoken of. 17 For the kyngedome of God is not meate and drynke, but ryghtuousnes, peace, & ioye in the holye ghoste. 18 For whosoeuer in these thynges serueth Christe, pleaseth well God, & is commendeth of men. 19 Let vs folowe those thynges which make for peace, and thynges wherewith one maye edifye another. 20 Destroye not the worke of God for a lytell meates sake. All thynges are pure: but it is euyll for that man, whiche eateth with hurte of hys conscience. 21 It is good neyther to eate flesh, neyther to drynke wyne neyther anye thynge whereby thy brother stombleth, eyther falleth, or is made weake. 22 Haste thou faythe? haue it wyth thy selfe before GOD. Happye is he that condempneth not hym selfe in that thynge whiche he aloweth. 23 For he that maketh conscience, is dampned yf he eate, because he doeth it not of faythe. For whatsoeuer is not of faythe, that same is synne.

Matthew 7:1-5

1 Ivdge not, that ye be not iudged. 2 For as ye iudge so, shall ye be iudged. And with what measur ye meate, with the same shal it be measured to you agayne. 3 Why seiste thou a moote in thy brothers eye, & perceyuest not the beame that is in thyne owne eye? 4 Or why saist thou to thy brother: suffer me to plucke out the moote out of thyne eye, & beholde a beame is in thyne owne eye? 5 Hypocrite, first caste out the beame out of thyne owne eye, and then shalte thou se clearelye to plucke out the moote out of thy brothers eye.

Proverbs 18:2

2 A foole hath no delite in understanding, but only in those thynges wherin his herte reioyseth.
