1 My sonne, kepe my wordes, and lay vp my commaundements by the. 2 Kepe my commaundementes and my lawe, euen as the apple of thyne eie, and thou shalt liue. 3 Bind them vpon thy fingers, and wryte them in the table of thyne herte. 4 Saye vnto wysdome: thou art my sister, and cal vnderstandyng thy kynswoman: 5 that she may kepe the from the starnge woman, and from the harlot which geueth swete wordes, 6 For out of the window of my house I loked thorow the trealesse, 7 & beheld the simple people: and among other yong folkes I spyed one yonge fole 8 going ouer the stretes, by the corner in the way toward the harlots house 9 in the twylight of the euening, when it beganne now to be nyght and darke. 10 And beholde, ther met him a woman in an harlots apparel, 11 a dysceatful, wanton & vnstedfast woman: whose fet could not abide in the house, 12 now is she without, now in the stretes, lurketh in euery corner, 13 she caught the yonge man, kyssed hym, & was not ashamed, sayinge: 14 I had a vowe to paye, & thys daye I perfourme it. 15 Therfore came I forth to mete the, that I mighte seke thy face, and so I haue founde the. 16 I haue deckte my bed with couerynges & clothes of Egypte. 17 My bed haue I made to smell of myrre, Aloes, and Cynamon. 18 Come let vs lye together, and take our pleasure tyll it be daye lyghte. 19 For the good man is not at home, he is gone farre of. 20 He hath taken the bagge of money with hym: who can tell when he commeth home? 21 Thus with many swete woordes she ouercome hym, and with her flatteryng lippes she wanne hym. 22 Immediatly he folowed her, as it were an oxe led to the slaughter (& lyke as it were to the stockes, where foles are punyshed) 23 so longe tyll she had wounded hys lyuer with her dart: like as if a byrde hasted to the snare not knowyng that the parell of his lyfe lieth therupon. 24 Heare me now therfore (O my sonne) and marke the wordes of my mouth. 25 Let not thyne herte wandre in her wayes, & be not thou disceyued in her pathes. 26 For many one hath she wounded and cast doune yea, many a stronge man hath she slayne. 27 Her house is the waye vnto hell, where men go doune into the chambers of death.
Bible verses about "flirting" | Matthew
24 Wherfore God lykewyse gaue them vp vnto their hertes lustes vnto vncleanes, to defyle theyr owne bodies betwene them selues: 25 whyche turned hys truth vnto a lye, and worshipped and serued the creatures more then the maker, whyche is blessed for euer. Amen. 26 For this cause God gaue them vp vnto shamefull lustes. For euen theyr women dyd chandge the natural vse vnto the vnnaturall. 27 And lykewyse also the men lefte the naturall vse of the woman, and brent in theyr lustes one on another. And man with man wroughte fylthynes, and receiued in them selues the reward of theyr errour, as it was accordinge. 28 And as it semed not good vnto them to be a knowen of God, euen so God deliuered them vp vnto a leud minde, that they should do those thinges, whiche were not comly, 29 beyng ful of al vnryghtuous doing, of fornicacion, wickednes, couetousnes, maliciousnes, full of enuye, murther, debate, disceite, euyl condicioned, whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, doers of wronge, proude, bosters, bryngers vp of euyll thinges, disobedient to father and mother, 31 wythout vnderstandynge, couenaunt breakers, vnlouinge, truce breakers and mercyles. 32 Whyche men though they knewe the ryghtuousnes of God, howe that they which such thinges commit, are worthy of death, yet not onely do the same, but also haue pleasure in them that do them.
12 But these as brute beastes naturallye made to be taken and destroyed, speake euyll of that they knowe not, and shal perishe thorow their owne destruccion, 13 and receiue the reward of vnrightuousnes. They count it pleasure to lyue deliciously for a season. Spottes they are and filthines, liuinge at pleasure, and in disceiueable waies feastinge with you, 14 hauinge eyes full of aduoutrye, and that can not cease to synne, begilinge vnstable soules. Hertes they haue exercised with couetousues. They are cursed children,
16 Moreouer thus sayth the Lorde: Seynge the doughters of Sion are become so proude, and come in with stretched oute neckes, and with vayne wanton eyes: seynge they come in tryppynge so nycely with their fete: 17 Therfore shall the Lorde shaue the heades of the doughters of Syon, and make theyr bewtye bare in that daye.
17 Thou shalt not couet thy neighbours house neither shalt couet thy neighbours wyfe, his man seruaunt, his mayde, his oxe, his asse or oughte that is hys.
8 Furthermore brethren, whatsoeuer thynges are true, whatsoeuer thinges are honest, whatsoeuer thinges are iuste, whatsoeuer thinges are pure, whatsoeuer thinges pertaine to loue, whatsoeuer thinges are of honeste report: yf there be anie vertuous thinge yf there be anye laudable thinge,
1 My lytle chyldren, these thinges wryte I vnto you, that ye sinne not, yf anye man synne, yet we haue an aduocate with the father, Iesus Christe, whiche is rightuouse, 2 and he it is that obtayned grace for our sinnes, not for oure sinnes onelye, but also for the synnes of al the worlde. 3 And herby we are sure that we knowe him, yf we kepe his commaundementes. 4 He that sayth I knowe him, and kepeth not his commaundementes, is a liar, and the veritie is not in him. 5 Whosoeuer kepeth his worde, in him is the loue of God, perfecte in dede. And there by knowe we that we are in him. 6 He that sayeth he abydeth in him ought to walke euen as he walked. 7 Brethren I wryte no newe commaundemente vnto you, but that olde commaundemente, which ye hearde from the beginning. 8 The olde commandement is the word, which ye heard from the beginninge. Againe a new commaundement I write vnto you, a thinge that is true in him, and also in you, for the darkenes is past, and the true light now shineth. 9 He that sayeth how that he is in the light, and yet hateth his brother, is in dackenes euen vntill this tyme. 10 He that loueth his brother, abideth in the lyghte, and there is none occasion of euill in him. 11 He that hateth his brother, is in darckenes and walketh in darckenes, and can not tell whether he goeth, because that darckenes hath blinded his eyes. 12 Babes I wryte vnto you, how that youre sinnes are forgeuen you for his names sake. 13 I wryte vnto you fathers, how that ye know him, that was from the beginninge. I wryte vnto you yong men, how that ye haue ouercome the wicked. I write to you lytel children, howe that ye knowe the father, 14 I wryte vnto you fathers, how that ye knowe him, that was from the beginninge. I wryte vnto you young men, how that ye are stronge and the word of God abyeth in you, & ye haue ouercome that wycked. 15 Se that ye loue not the world, neyther the thynges that are in the worlde. Yf anye man loue the worlde the loue of the father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world (as the luste of the fleshe, the lust of the eyes, and the pryde of goodes) is not of the father, but of the world. 17 And the world vanysheth away, and the lust therof, but he that fulfilleth the will of God, abideth euer. 18 Litel chyldren, it is the last time, and as ye haue hearde how that Antichriste shall come, euen nowe are there many Antichristes come alredye. Wherby we knowe that it is the last tyme. 19 They went out from vs, but they were not of vs. For yf they had bene of vs: they woulde no doubte, haue continued wyth vs. But that fortuned, that it myghte appeare, that they were not of vs. 20 And ye haue an oyntment of the holye ghost and ye knowe all thinges. 21 I wrote not vnto you, as though ye knewe not the trueth, but as though ye knewe it, and knowe also that no lye commeth of trueth. 22 Who is a liar but he that denyeth that Iesus is Christ? The same is the Antechrist that denyeth the father and the sonne. 23 Whosoeuer denyeth the sonne, the same hath not the father. 24 Let therfore abyde in you that same, whiche ye hearde from the beginninge, shall remaine in you, ye also shal continue in the sonne, and in the father. 25 And this is the promes, that he hath promysed vs euen eternal lyfe. 26 This haue I written vnto you concerning them, that disceyue you. 27 And the anointinge, whiche ye haue receiued of him, dwelleth in you. And ye nede not that anye man teache you, but as the anointing teacheth you al thinges, and is true, and is no lye, & it is taught you, euen so byde therin. 28 And now babes abide in him, that when he shal appeare, we maye be bolde, and not be made ashamed of him at his comming: 29 If ye knowe that he is rightuous, knowe also that he whiche foloweth rightuousnes, is borne of hym.
14 yet yf my people that are named after my name, shall humble themselues & make intercessyon & seke my presence, & turne from their wicked wayes, then wyll I heare from heauen and be mercyfull to theyr synnes, & wyl heale theyr lande.
2 Be not hasty with thy mouth, & let not thyne herte speake any thyng rashly before God. For God is in heauen, & thou vpon earth, therfore let thy wordes be few.
28 But I saye vnto you, that whosoeuer loketh on a wife, lustinge after her, hath committed adulterye with her alredy in his herte
