26 And God sayde: let vs make man in oure similitude & after our lycknesse: that he may haue rule ouer the fysh of the sea, and ouer the foules of the ayre, & ouer catell, and ouer all the erth, and ouer all wormes that crepe on the erth.
Bible verses about "evolution" | Matthew
30 There is no wysdome ther is no vnderstandyng, there is no councell agaynste the Lorde.
1 In the begynnynge was the worde, and the word was with God, & the worde was God. 2 The same was in the begynnynge wyth God. 3 All thynges were made by it and without it was made nothynge that was made. 4 In it was lyfe, and the lyfe was the lyght of men, 5 & the lyght shyneth in the darknes, but the darknes comprehended it not. 6 Ther was a man sent from God, whose name was Iohn. 7 These same came as a wytnes to beare wytnes of the lyght, that all men through him myght beleue. 8 He was not that lyght but to beare witnes of the lyght. 9 That was a true lyght, which lyghted all men that come into the worlde. 10 He was in the worlde, & the worlde was made by him, & yet the worlde knewe him not. 11 He came amonge his (owne) & his owne receiued him not. 12 But as manye as receyued him to them he gaue power to be the sonnes of God in that they beleued on his name 13 & which were borne not of the bloude nor of the wyl of the flesh, nor yet of the wyll of man: but of God. 14 And the worde was made flesh & dwelt amonge vs, and we sawe the glorye of it, as the glory of the onlye begotten sonne of the father, which worde was ful of grace & verite. 15 Iohn bare witnes of him & cried saiyng: This was he of whom I spake, he that cometh after me was before me, because he was yer then I. 16 And of his fulnes haue all we receyued, euen (grace) for grace. 17 For the lawe was geuen by Moyses, but grace and truthe came by Iesus Christ. 18 No man hath sene God at anye tyme. The onlye begotten sonne which is in the bosome of the father, he hath declared hym. 19 And this is the recorde of Iohn: When the Iewes sent pryestes and Leuites from Ierusalem, to axe him what arte thou? 20 And he confessed and denied not, and sayd plainlye: I am not Chryste. 21 And they axed hym: what then? Art thou Helias? And he sayed: I am not. Art thou a Prophete? And he aunswered no. 22 Then sayed they vnto him: what art thou? that we may geue an aunswere to them that sent vs? What sayest thou of thy selfe? 23 He sayde: I am the voice of a cryar in the wyldernes, make strayght the waye of the Lorde, as sayde the Prophete Esaias. 24 And they which were sent, were of the pharyseis. 25 And they axed him: and sayd vnto him: why baptysest thou then if thou be not Christ, nor Helias, neyther a Prophete? 26 Iohn aunswered them saiynge: I baptyse with water, but one is come amonge you whom ye knowe not, 27 he it is that cometh after me, which was before me, whose shoe latchet I am not worthy to vnlose. 28 These thinges were done in Bethabara beyonde Iordaine wher Iohn did baptyse. 29 The nexte daye Iohn sawe Iesus commynge vnto him, and sayde: beholde the lambe of God, which taketh away the synne of the worlde. 30 This is he of whom I sayde. After me cometh a man which was before me, for he was yer then I, 31 and I knowe him not: but that he shoulde be declared to Israel, therfore am I come baptysynge with water. 32 And Iohn bare recorde saiynge: I saw the sprete descende from heauen, lyke vnto a doue, and abide vpon him, 33 and I knewe him not. But he that sent me: to baptyse in water, the same sayde vnto me: vpon whom thou shalt se the sprete descende and tarye styll on him, the same is he, whych baptyseth wyth the holye ghost. 34 And I sawe and beare recorde that this is the sonne of God. 35 The next daye after Iohn stode againe, and two of his disciples. 36 And he behelde Iesus as he walked by, & sayde: beholde the lambe of God. 37 And the .ij. disciples hearde him speake & foloweth Iesus. 38 And Iesus turned aboute and sawe them folowe, and sayde vnto them: what seke ye? They sayde vnto him: Rabbi (which is to saye by interpretacion, Maister) wher dwellest thou? 39 He sayed vnto them: come and se. They came and sawe wher he dwelte: and abode with him the daye. For it was aboute the tenth houre. 40 One of the two which hearde Iohn speake and folowed Iesus, was Andrew Simon Peters brother. 41 The same founde his brother Simon fyrst, and sayde vnto him: we haue founde Messias, which is by interpretation, anointed: 42 and brought him to Iesus. And Iesus behelde him and saide: thou art Simon the sonne of Ionas, thou shalt be called Cephas: which is by interpretacion, a stone. 43 The daye folowinge Iesus woulde go into Galyle, and founde Philip, and saide vnto him: folow me. 44 Philip was of Bethsaida the citye of Andrewe and Peter. 45 And Phylyp founde Nathanaell, and sayde vnto hym. We haue founde hym of whom Moyses in the lawe, and the prophetes did write: Iesus the sonne of Ioseph of Nazareth. 46 And Nathanael said to him: Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saide to him: come and se. 47 Iesus sawe Nathanael comminge to him and sayde of him: Beholde a right Israelyte, in whom is no gyle. 48 Nathanael, saide vnto hym: wher knewest thou me? Iesus aunswered, and sayde vnto him: Before that Philyp called the when thou wast vnder the fygge tree, I sawe the. 49 Nathanael aunswered & sayde vnto him: Rabbi, thou art the sonne of God, thou art the kynge of Israel. 50 Iesus aunswered and sayde vnto him: Because I sayde vnto the: I sawe the vnder the fygge tree, thou beleuest. Thou shalt se greater thinges then these. 51 And he sayed vnto him: Verely verely, I saye vnto you: here after shall ye se heauen open, and the aungels of God ascendinge and descendinge ouer the sonne of man,
3 This fyrst vnderstande, that there shall come in the laste dayes mockers, which wyll walke after their own lustes 4 and say. Where is the promes of hys comminge? For sence the fathers dyed, al thinges continue in the same estate, wherin they were at the beginninge. 5 This they knowe not (and that willinglie) howe that the heauens a greate whyle ago were, & the earth that was in the water, appered vp out of the water by the worde of God, 6 by the which thinges, the worlde that then was, perished ouer flowen with the water.
8 Dearly beloued, be not ignoraunt of thys one thinge, howe that one daye is wyth the Lorde, as a thousande yeare, and a thousande yeare as one daye.
20 So that his inuisible thinges, that is to saye, hys eternall power and Godhead, are vnderstand & sene by the workes from the creation of the worlde. So that they are wythout excuse, 21 in as muche as when they knewe God, they glorifyed him not as God, neither were thankful, but waxed full of vanities in theyr Imaginations, and their folishe hertes were blinded. 22 When they counted them selues wyse, they became foles, 23 and tourned the glorye of the immortall God, vnto the the similitude of the Image of mortall man, and of byrdes, and foure foted beastes, and of serpentes. 24 Wherfore God lykewyse gaue them vp vnto their hertes lustes vnto vncleanes, to defyle theyr owne bodies betwene them selues: 25 whyche turned hys truth vnto a lye, and worshipped and serued the creatures more then the maker, whyche is blessed for euer. Amen. 26 For this cause God gaue them vp vnto shamefull lustes. For euen theyr women dyd chandge the natural vse vnto the vnnaturall. 27 And lykewyse also the men lefte the naturall vse of the woman, and brent in theyr lustes one on another. And man with man wroughte fylthynes, and receiued in them selues the reward of theyr errour, as it was accordinge.
21 And God created greate whalles and al maner of creatures that lyue & moue, whych the waters brought forth in their kyndes, & all maner of fethered foules in theyr kyndes. And God sawe that it was good:
24 For thus sayth the Lorde thy redemer euen he that fashioned the from thy mothers wombe: I am the Lorde, whiche do all thinges my selfe alone. I onlye haue spred oute the heauens and I only haue layde the foundacyon of the earth. 25 I destroye the tokens of witches, and make the Soth sayers go wronge. As for the wyse, I turne them backwarde, and make their connynge folyshnesse.
8 Beware least anye man come and spoyle you thorowe philosophie and disceitful vanitie, thorowe the tradicions of men, and ordinaunces after the world, and not after Christ.
1 Fayth is a sure confydence of thynges which are hoped for, & a certayntye of thynges which are not sene. 2 By it the elders were wel reported of. 3 Thorow faythe we vnderstande that the worlde was ordeyned by the worde of God: and that thinges whiche are sene, were made of thynges whiche are not sene.
16 For by hym were all thynges created, thinges that are in heauen, and thinges that are in earth: thinges visible and thinges inuisible, whether they be maiestye or Lordeshyp, eyther rule or power. Al thynges are created by hym and in hym, 17 and he is before all thinges, and in hym all thinges haue theyr beynge.
7 Then the Lord God shope man, euen of the mould of the erth, & brethed into his face the breth of lyfe. So man was made a lyuyng soule.
1 In the beginnynge GOD created heauen and erth.
3 All thynges were made by it and without it was made nothynge that was made.
