1 And God spake all these woordes & sayd: 2 I am the Lorde thy God, which haue brought the out of the lande of Egipte and out of the house of bondage. 3 Thou shalt haue none other Goddes in my sight. 4 Thou shalt make the no grauen ymage neyther any similitude that is in heauen aboue either in the earth beneth, or in the water that is beneth the earth. 5 Se that thou neither bowe thy self vnto them neither serue them: for I the Lord thy God, am a gelouse God, & viset the synne of the fathers vppon the chyldren vnto the thyrd and fourth generacion of them that hate me: 6 and yet shew mercy vnto thousandes among them that loue me and kepe my commaundementes. 7 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vayne, for the Lord wil not hold him giltlesse that taketh his name in vayne. 8 Remembre the Sabbath daye that thou sanctifie it. 9 Sixe dayes mayst thou laboure and do all that thou hast to do: 10 but the seuenth day is the Sabbath daye of the Lord thy God, in it thou shalt do no maner worke: nether thou nor thy sonne, nor thy doughter, neither thy man seruaunte nor thy mayde seruaunt, neither thy cattel neither yet the straunger that is within thy gates. 11 For in sixe dayes the Lord made both heauen & earth & the sea & all that in them is and rested the seuenth day: wherfore the Lord blessed the Sabbath daye and halowed it. 12 Honour thy father & thy mother, that thy dayes may be longe in the lande which the Lorde thy God geueth the. 13 Thou shalt not kyll. 14 Thou shalt not breake wedlocke. 15 Thou shalt not steale. 16 Thou shalte beare no false witnesse agaynst thy neyghboure. 17 Thou shalt not couet thy neighbours house neither shalt couet thy neighbours wyfe, his man seruaunt, his mayde, his oxe, his asse or oughte that is hys.

Romans 13:1-14

1 Let euery soule submit him selfe vnto the authoritie of the hygher powers. For there is no power but of God. 2 The powers that be are ordeyned of God. Whosoeuer therfore resisteth power, resisteth the ordinaunce of GOD. And they that resiste, shall receyue to them selfe damnacyon. 3 For rulars are not to be feared for good workes, but for euyll. Wylte thou be wyth oute feare of the power? Do well then: and so shalte thou be praysed of the same. 4 For he is the minister of GOD, for thy welth. But and yf thou do euyll, then feare: for he beareth not a swearde for noughte, but is the minister of God, to take vengeaunce on them that do euyll. 5 Wherfore ye muste nedes obeye, not for feare of vengeaunce onelye, but also because of conscience. 6 And euen for thys cause paye ye trybute. For they are Goddes ministers, seruynge for the same purpose. 7 Geue to euerye man therfore hys dutye: Tribute to whom trybute belongeth: Custome to whom custome is due: feare to whome feare belongeth: Honoure to whom honoure pertayneth. 8 Owe nothynge to anye man: but to loue one another. For he that loueth another, fulfylleth the lawe. 9 For these commaundementes Thou shalte not commyt aduoutrye: Thou shalte not kyll: Thou shalt not steale: Thou shalte not beare false wytnesse: Thou shalte not desyre: and so forth (yf there be anye other commaundente) they are all comprehended in thys saiynge: Loue thyne neyghboure as thy selfe. 10 Loue hurteth not hys neyghbour. Therfore is loue the fulfyllynge of the lawe. 11 Thys also we knowe, I meane the season, howe that it is tyme, that we should now awake oute of slepe. For nowe is oure saluacyon nearer, then when we beleued. 12 The night is passed, and the day is come ny. Let vs therfore caste awaye the dedes of darcknes, & let vs put on the Armoure of lyghte. 13 Let vs walke honestlye as it were in the daye lyght: not in eatynge and drynkynge: neyther in chamburynge and wantonnes, neyther in stryfe & enuiynge: 14 but put ye on the Lorde Iesus Christ. And make not prouysyon for the fleshe, to fulfyll the lustes of it.
