Bible verses about "homosexuals" | Mace

John 8:7-11

7 and as they pressed him to answer, he rais'd himself, and said to them, he that is without sin among you, let him be the first that throws a stone at her. 8 then stooping down again, he wrote on the ground. 9 but they who heard that, being convicted by their own conscience, they all went old and young one after another, so that Jesus was left alone with the woman, who still kept her place. 10 then Jesus raising himself, and seeing none but the woman there, he said to her, woman, where are your accusers? hath no man condemned thee? 11 Lord, said she, no man. and Jesus said to her, neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Matthew 22:39

39 and the second has an affinity with it, "thou shalt love thy neighbour as thy self."

Galatians 5:16-25

16 I say then, conduct yourselves by the spirit, and you will not then gratify the animal passions. 17 for the vicious desires are contrary to those of the spirit, and the inclinations of the spirit are contrary to those of the animal part; these are opposite to each other, so that you do not the things that you would. 18 but if you are governed by the spirit, you are not subject to the law. 19 now the effects of vicious passions are manifestly these, fornication, uncleanness, 20 brutality, idolatry, poisoning, enmities, quarrels, emulations, animosities, strife, seditions, factions, envyings, 21 drunkenness, revellings, and such like, concerning which I forewarn you now, as heretofore I have done, that they who practise such vices, shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 but the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, sweetness of disposition, beneficence, faithfulness, meekness, temperance: 23 against such there is no law. 24 now they who belong to Christ, have crucified the animal nature with the affections and passions thereof. 25 if we live by the spirit, let us regulate our actions by the spirit:

Matthew 19:11-12

11 but he reply'd, 'tis not everyman can live single, but only such as have the gift of continency. 12 as there are some eunuchs, who were such from their very birth: and others who were made such by men: so there are some who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of religion. he that can bear the state of celibacy, let him bear it.

Romans 13:8-10

8 Owe no man any thing, but mutual love: for he that 9 loves others hath fulfilled the law. for this, "thou shalt not commit adultery, thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not bear false witness, thou shalt not covet;" and whatever social precept there be, it is reduced to this single head, 10 thou shalt love thy neighbour as thy self." the benevolent never does wrong to his neighbour: therefore benevolence is the fulfilling of the law.

Galatians 5:14

14 for all the law is comprehended in this one precept, "thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."

Matthew 7:12

12 Let your actions be such, with regard to others, as you should think reasonable with regard to yourselves, for this is the substance of the law and the prophets.

Mark 7:20-23

20 but, said he, that which proceeds from a man, is what defiles him: 21 for from within, from the heart of man proceed wicked designs, adulteries, fornications, murders; thefts, 22 avarice, malice, fraud, impudence, envy, scandal, pride, vanity. 23 all these vices come from within, and are what defile the man.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11

9 Know you not that the unjust shall not inherit the kingdom of God? be not deceived: neither the licentious, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor the effeminate, nor the brutal, 10 nor thieves, nor misers, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor raparees, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 and such were some of you: but you have been washed, you have been sanctified, you have been justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and by the spirit of our God.

Romans 1:23-28

23 the honour due to God, who is immortal, they transferr'd to idols representing men, who are mortal, to birds, and beasts, and insects. 24 wherefore God abandon'd them to the impure passions of their own hearts, so that they themselves dishonour'd their own bodies; 25 they changed the true God for an idol, and adored and served the creature more than the creator, who is blessed for ever. 26 amen. for this cause God gave them up to infamous passions: for even the sex perverted the instinct of nature: 27 and the men unnaturally leaving the sex, were inflamed with mutual passions, which they shamefully indulged, and received in their own persons, the retribution that was justly due to such enormities. 28 As they did not seek the favour of God, by worshipping him, God gave them over to a depraved sense, to act unworthy of human nature;
