Bible verses about "willow" | MSTC

Ezekiel 17:4-6

4 and brake off the top of his twig, and carried it into the land of Canaan, and set it in a city of merchants. 5 He took also a branch of the land, and planted it in a fruitful ground, he brought it unto great waters, and set it as a willow tree thereby. 6 Then did it grow, and was a great vine stock, but low by the ground: thus there came of it a vine, and it brought forth blossoms, and spread out branches.

Leviticus 23:40

40 And ye shall take you the first day, the fruits of goodly trees and the branches of palm trees and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook, and shall rejoice before the LORD seven days.

Psalms 137:1-9

1 By the waters of Babylon we sat down; and wept, when we remembered Zion. 2 We hanged our harps upon the salon-trees, in the midst of it. 3 For they that led us away captive required of us then a song, and melody in our heaviness. "Sing us one of the songs of Zion!" 4 How shall we sing the LORD's song in a strange land? 5 If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my righthand forget her cunning. 6 If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth, yea, if I prefer not Jerusalem in my mirth. 7 Remember the children of Edom, O LORD, in the day of Jerusalem, how they said, "Down with it! Down with it, even to the ground!" 8 O daughter of Babylon, thou shalt come to misery thyself; yea, happy shall he be that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us. 9 Blessed shall he be that taketh thy children, and throweth them against the stones.
