Luke 14:13-14

13 But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, and the blind, 14 and thou shalt be happy: For they cannot recompense thee. But thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just men."

Proverbs 1:1-33

1 The proverbs of Solomon, the son of David king of Israel: 2 To learn wisdom, instruction, understanding, prudence, 3 righteousness, judgment and equity. 4 That the very babes might have wit, and that young men might have knowledge and understanding. 5 By hearing, the wise man shall come by more wisdom: 6 and he that is endued with understanding shall obtain wit to perceive a parable, and the interpretation thereof; the words of the wise, and the dark speeches of the same. 7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom. But fools despise wisdom and instruction. 8 My son, hear thy father's doctrine, and forsake not the law of thy mother: 9 for that shall bring grace unto thy head, and shall be a chain about thy neck. 10 My son, consent not unto sinners, 11 if they entice thee, and say, "Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, and lurk privily for the innocent without a cause: 12 Let us swallow them up like the hell, let us devour them quick and whole, as those that go down into the pit. 13 So shall we find all manner of costly riches, and fill our houses with spoils. 14 Cast in thy lot among us, we shall have all one purse." 15 My son, walk not thou with them, refrain thy foot from their ways. 16 For their feet run to evil, and are hasty to shed blood. 17 But in vain is the net laid forth before the bird's eyes. 18 Yea, they themselves lay wait one for another's blood, and one of them would slay another. 19 These are the ways of all such as be covetous, that one would ravish another's life. 20 Wisdom crieth without and putteth forth her voice in the streets. 21 She calleth before the congregation in the open gates, and showeth her words through the city, saying, 22 "O ye children, how long will ye love childishness? How long will the scorners delight in scorning, and the unwise be enemies unto knowledge? 23 O turn you unto my correction: lo, I will express my mind unto you, and make you understand my words. 24 Seeing then that I have called, and ye refused it: I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded it, 25 but all my counsels have ye despised and set my corrections to naught. 26 Therefore shall I also laugh in your destruction, and mock you, when the thing that ye fear cometh upon you: 27 even when the thing that ye be afraid of, falleth in suddenly like a storm, and your misery like a tempest: yea, when trouble and heaviness cometh upon you. 28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not hear: they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me. 29 And that because they hated knowledge, and received not the fear of the LORD, 30 but abhorred my counsel, and despised my correction. 31 Therefore shall they eat the fruits of their own way, and be filled with their own counsels: 32 for the turning away of the unwise shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall be their own destruction. 33 But who so hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and have enough without any fear of evil."

2 Timothy 2:15

15 Study to show thyself laudable unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, dividing the word of truth justly.

Leviticus 19:23-25

23 And when ye come to the land and have planted all manner of trees whereof men eat, ye shall hold them uncircumcised as concerning their fruit: even three year shall they be uncircumcised unto you and shall not be eaten of, 24 and the fourth year all the fruit of them shall be holy and acceptable to the LORD. 25 And the fifth year may ye eat of the fruit of them, and gather in the increase of them. I am the LORD your God.

Joshua 1:8

8 Let not the book of this law depart out of thy mouth: but record therein day and night that thou mayest be circumspect to do according to all that is written therein. For then shalt thou make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have understanding.

1 John 3:17

17 He, then, that hath the substance of the world, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his compassion from him: how dwelleth the love of God in him?

1 John 2:15-17

15 See that ye love not the world, nor the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world — as the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of goods — are not of the father: but of the world. 17 And the world vanisheth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God, abideth ever.

Deuteronomy 15:4

4 and that in any wise, that there be no beggar among you. For the LORD shall bless the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, an inheritance, to possess it:

Luke 6:38

Acts 20:35

35 I have showed you all things, how that so laboring ye ought to receive the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how that he said, 'It is more blessed to give, than to receive.'"

2 Corinthians 9:6

6 This yet remember, how that he which soweth little, shall reap little: and he that soweth plenteously shall reap plenteously.

Matthew 6:20

Luke 12:33-34

33 Sell that ye have, and give alms. And make you bags, which wax not old, and treasure that faileth not in heaven, where no thief cometh, neither moth corrupteth. 34 For where your treasure is; There will your hearts be also.

Proverbs 22:7

7 The rich ruleth the poor; and the borrower is servant to the lender.

Ecclesiastes 11:1-6

1 Send thy victuals over the waters, and so shalt thou find them after many years. 2 Give part sven days, and also upon the eighth, for thou knowest not what misery shall come upon earth. 3 When the clouds are full, they pour out rain upon the earth. And when the tree falleth, whether it be toward the South or North, in what place soever it fall, there it lieth. 4 He that regardeth the wind, shall not sow; and he that hath respect unto the clouds, shall not reap. 5 Now, like as thou knowest not the way of the wind, nor how the bones are filled in a mother's womb: Even so thou knowest not the works of God, which is the workmaster of all. 6 Cease not thou therefore with thy hands to sow thy seed, whether it be in the morning or in the evening: for then knowest not whether this or that shall prosper, and if they both take, it is the better.
