Ephesians 5:22-33

22 Women: submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23 For the husband is the wife's head, even as Christ is the head of the congregation, and the same is the saviour of the body. 24 Therefore as the congregation is in subjection to Christ, likewise let the wives be in subjection to their husbands in all things. 25 Husbands: love your wives, even as Christ loved the congregation, and gave himself for it, 26 to sanctify it, and cleansed it in the fountain of water through the word, 27 to make it unto himself a glorious congregation without spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing: but that it should be holy and without blame. 28 So ought men to love their wives, as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife, loveth himself. 29 For no man ever yet, hated his own flesh; but nourisheth, and cherisheth it: even as the Lord doth the congregation. 30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 "For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall continue with his wife, and two shall be made one flesh." 32 This is a great secret, but I speak between Christ and the congregation. 33 Nevertheless, do ye so that every one of you love his wife truly even as himself: And let the wife see that she fear her husband.

1 John 2:16

16 For all that is in the world — as the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of goods — are not of the father: but of the world.

1 Corinthians 11:8-9

8 For the man is not of the woman, but the woman of the man. 9 Neither was the man created for the woman's sake: but the woman for the man's sake.

Galatians 3:28

28 Now is there no Jew, neither gentile, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither man nor woman: but ye are all one thing in Christ Jesus.
