Luke 12:42-46

42 And the Lord said, "If there be any faithful servant, and wise, whom his Lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their duty of meat, at due season: 43 Happy is that servant, whom his master when he cometh shall find so doing. 44 Of a truth I say unto you, That he will make him ruler over all that he hath. 45 But and if the evil servant shall say in his heart, 'My master will defer his coming,' and shall begin to smite the servants, and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken: 46 the Lord of that servant will come in a day, when he thinketh not, and at a hour when he is not aware, and will divide him, and will give him his reward, with the unbelievers.

1 Corinthians 10:13

13 There hath none other temptation taken you, such as followeth the nature of man. God is faithful, which shall not suffer you to be tempted above your strength: but shall in the midst of the temptation make a way to escape out.

2 Corinthians 5:10

10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that every man may receive the works of his body according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

1 Timothy 6:1

1 Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God, and his doctrine be not evil spoken of.

1 Corinthians 7:3-5

3 Let the man give unto the wife due benevolence. Likewise also the wife unto the man. 4 The wife hath not power over her own body: but the husband; And likewise the man hath not power over his own body: but the wife. 5 Withdraw not yourselves one from another except it be with consent for a time, for to give yourselves to fasting and prayer, and afterward come again to the same thing, lest Satan tempt you for your incontinency.

James 3:9-12

9 Therewith bless we God the father, and therewith curse we men which are made after the similitude of God. 10 Out of one mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. 11 Doth a fountain send forth at one place sweet water, and bitter also? 12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries: or a vine bear figs? So can no fountain give both salt water and fresh also.

1 Peter 3:1

1 Likewise, let the wives be in subjection to their husbands, that even they which believe not the word, may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives:

James 1:1-27

1 James, the servant of God, and of the Lord Jesus Christ, sendeth greeting to the twelve tribes which are scattered here and there. 2 My brethren, count it exceeding joy when ye fall into divers temptations, 3 forasmuch as ye know how that the trying of your faith bringeth patience: 4 and let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and sound, lacking nothing. 5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, which giveth to all men indifferently and casteth no man in the teeth; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, and waver not. For he that doubteth is like the waves of the sea, tossed of the wind, and carried with violence. 7 Neither let that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8 A wavering minded man is unstable in all his ways. 9 Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted, 10 and the rich in that he is made low. For even as the flower of the grass shall he vanish away. 11 The sun riseth with heat, and the grass withereth and his flower falleth away, and the beauty of the fashion of it perisheth: even so shall the rich man perish with his abundance. 12 Happy is the man that endureth in temptation, for when he is tried he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. 13 Let no man say when he is tempted that he is tempted of God: for God tempteth not unto evil, neither tempteth he any man. 14 But every man is tempted, drawn away, and enticed of his own concupiscence. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, she bringeth forth sin, and sin when it is finished bringeth forth death. 16 Err not, my dear brethren. 17 Every good gift, and every perfect gift, is from above and cometh down from the father of light, with whom is no variableness, neither is he changed unto darkness. 18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of life, that we should be the first fruits of his creatures. 19 Wherefore, dear brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to wrath. 20 For the wrath of man worketh not that which is righteous before God. 21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness, all superfluity of maliciousness, and receive with meekness the word that is grafted in you, which is able to save your souls: 22 And see that ye be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves with sophistry. 23 For if any hear the word, and do it not, he is like unto a man that beholdeth his bodily face in a glass. 24 For as soon as he hath looked on himself, he goeth his way, and forgetteth immediately what his fashion was: 25 but whoso looketh in the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein — if he be not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work — the same shall be happy in his deed. 26 If any man among you seem devout, and refrain not his tongue: but deceive his own heart, this man's devotion is in vain. 27 Pure devotion, and undefiled before God the father, is this: To visit the friendless, and widows in their adversity, and to keep himself unspotted of the world.

Matthew 4:10

10 Then said Jesus unto him, "Depart, Satan: For it is written, 'Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God and him only shalt thou serve.'"

1 John 1:9

9 If we knowledge our sins, he is faithful and just, to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 Corinthians 10:24

24 Let no man seek his own profit: but let every man seek another's wealth.

Romans 12:18

18 If it be possible, howbeit of your part, have peace with all men.

1 John 2:1-29

1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye should sin not: if, though, any man sin, yet we have an Advocate with the father, even Jesus Christ, which is righteous. 2 And he it is that obtaineth grace for our sins; and not for our sins only, but also for the sins of all the world. 3 And hereby we are sure that we know him: if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith, "I know him," and yet keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the verity is not in him. 5 He that keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfect, indeed. And hereby know we that we are in him. 6 He that saith he bideth in him, ought to walk even as he walked. 7 Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you: but an old commandment which ye had at the beginning. For an old commandment is the word which ye heard from the beginning. 8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, a thing which is true in him, and also in you: for the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth. 9 He that saith how that he is in the light, and yet hateth his brother, is in darkness even until this time. 10 He that loveth his brother, abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of offending in him. 11 And he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness; and knoweth not whither he goeth, for darkness hath blinded his eyes. 12 Babes, I write unto you how that your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake. 13 I write unto you fathers, how that ye have known him that was from the beginning. I write unto you young men, how that ye have overcome the wicked. I write unto you young children, how that ye know the father. 14 I write unto you fathers, how that ye have known him that was from the beginning. I write unto you young men, how that ye be strong; and the word of God dwelleth in you, that ye have overcome the wicked. 15 See that ye love not the world, nor the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world — as the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of goods — are not of the father: but of the world. 17 And the world vanisheth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God, abideth ever. 18 Little children it is now the last time, and as ye have heard how that antichrist shall come: even now are there many antichrists come already, whereby we know that it is the last time. 19 They went out of us, but they were not of us. For if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us. But that fortuned, that it might appear that they were not of us. 20 But ye have an ointment of the holy ghost, and ye know all things. 21 I wrote not unto you, as though ye knew not the truth: but as unto them them that know it, and know also how that no lie cometh of truth. 22 Who is a liar, but he that denieth that Jesus is Christ? The same is the antichrist that denieth the father and the son. 23 Whosoever denieth the son, the same hath not the father. 24 Let therefore abide in you that same which ye heard at the beginning. If that which ye heard at the beginning shall remain in you, then ye also shall continue in the son, and in the father. 25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. 26 These things have I written unto you, as concerning them that deceive you. 27 And the anointing which ye have received of him dwelleth in you. And ye need not that any man teach you: but as the anointing teacheth you all things, and is true, and is no lie: and as it taught you, even so bide therein. 28 And now babes, abide in him, that when he shall appear, we may have confidence and not be made ashamed of him at his coming. 29 If ye know that he is righteous, know also that all that work righteousness, are born of him.

Romans 12:2

2 And fashion not yourselves like unto this world: But be changed through the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what thing that good, that acceptable, and perfect will of God is.

11 and have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness: but rather rebuke them.
