Matthew 20:26

26 It shall not be so among you: But whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister,

Malachi 3:5

5 I will come and punish you, and I myself will be a swift witness against the witches, against the adulterers, against false swearers: yea, and against those that wrongfully keep back the hireling's duty, which vex the widows and the fatherless, and oppress the stranger, and fear not me, sayeth the LORD of Hosts.

Ephesians 6:9

9 And ye masters, do even the same things unto them, putting away threatenings: and remember that even your master also is in heaven, neither is there any respect of person with him.

1 Timothy 6:1-2

1 Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God, and his doctrine be not evil spoken of. 2 See that they which have believing masters despise them not because they are brethren: but so much the rather do service, forasmuch as they are believing and beloved and partakers of the benefits. These things teach and exhort.

Hebrews 13:17

17 Obey them that have the oversight of you, and submit yourselves to them, for they watch for your souls, even as they that must give accounts for them: that they may do it with joy, and not with grief. For that is an unprofitable thing for you.

Colossians 3:22-25

22 Servants, be obedient unto your bodily masters in all things: not with eye service as men pleasers, but in singleness of heart fearing God. 23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily as though ye did it to the Lord, and not unto men, 24 forasmuch as ye know that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of inheritance, for ye serve the Lord Christ. 25 But he that doth wrong shall receive for the wrong that he hath done: for there is no respect of persons.

Romans 13:1-14

1 Let every soul submit himself unto the authority of the higher powers. For there is no power, but of God. The powers that be, are ordained of God. 2 Whosoever therefore resisteth power, resisteth the ordinance of God. And they that resist, shall receive to themselves damnation. 3 For rulers are not to be feared for good works but for evil. Wilt thou be without fear of the power? Do well then: and so shalt thou be praised of the same. 4 For he is the minister of God, for thy wealth. But and if thou do evil, then fear: for he beareth not a sword for nought; but is the minister of God, to take vengeance on them that do evil. 5 Wherefore ye must needs obey, not for fear of vengeance only: but also because of conscience. 6 And even for this cause pay ye tribute. For they are God's ministers, serving for the same purpose. 7 Give to every man therefore his duty: Tribute to whom tribute belongeth: Custom to whom custom is due: fear to whom fear belongeth: Honour to whom honour pertaineth. 8 Owe nothing to any man: but to love one another. For he that loveth another, fulfilleth the law. 9 For these commandments: Thou shalt not commit adultery, thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not bear false witness, thou shalt not desire, and so forth: if there be any other commandment, they are all comprehended in this saying, "Love thine neighbor as thyself." 10 Love hurteth not his neighbor: Therefore is love the fulfilling of the law. 11 This also we know, I mean the season: how that it is time that we should now awake out of sleep. For now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. 12 The night is past and the day is come nigh. Let us therefore cast away the deeds of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. 13 Let us walk honestly as it were in the daylight: not in eating and drinking: neither in chambering and wantonness: neither in strife and envying: 14 but put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ. And make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts of it.

Ephesians 6:5-8

5 Servants, be obedient unto your carnal masters, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your hearts, as unto Christ: 6 not with service in the eyesight, as men-pleasers: but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart 7 with good will, even as though serving the Lord and not men. 8 And remember that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, that shall he receive again of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.
