Bible verses about "archangels" | MSTC

Daniel 10:13

13 had not the prince over the kingdom of the Persians withstood me twenty one days. But lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; him have I left by the king of Persia,

Matthew 18:10

10 See that ye despise not one of these little ones. For I say unto you, that in heaven their angels always behold the face of my father, which is in heaven.

1 Peter 5:8

8 Be sober, and watch. For your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

2 Peter 2:4

4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down into hell, and delivered them in chains of darkness, to be kept unto judgement;

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

13 I would not, brethren, have you ignorant concerning them which are fallen asleep, that ye sorrow not as others do which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died, and rose again: even so them also which sleep by Jesus, will God bring again with him. 15 And this say we unto you in the word of the Lord, that we which live and are remaining in the coming of the Lord, shall not come before they which sleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, and the voice of the archangel, and trump of God. And the dead in Christ shall arise first: 17 then shall we which live and remain, be caught up with them also in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Where-fore comfort yourselves one another with these words.

Ephesians 6:10-18

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the armour of God, that ye may stand steadfast against the crafty assaults of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood: but against rule, against power, and against worldly rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness for heavenly things. 13 For this cause, take unto you the armour of God, that ye may be able to resist in the evil day, and to stand perfect in all things. 14 Stand, therefore, and your loins gird about with verity, having on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and shod with shoes prepared by the gospel of peace. 16 Above all, take to you the shield of faith, wherewith ye may quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God, 18 and pray always with all manner prayer and supplication — and that in the spirit — and watch thereunto with all instance and supplication for all saints,

1 John 4:1

1 Ye beloved, believe not every spirit: but prove the spirits whether they be of God, or not: for many false prophets are gone out in to the world.

Revelation 20:1-15

1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit, and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he took the dragon, that old serpent which is the devil and Satan, and he bound him a thousand years: 3 and cast him into the bottomless pit, and he bound him, and set a seal on him, that he should deceive the people no more, till the thousand years were fulfilled. And after that he must be loosed for a little season. 4 And I saw seats, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God: which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had taken his mark upon their foreheads, or on their hands: and they lived, and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 But the others of the dead men lived not again, until the thousand years were finished. This is that first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection. For on such shall the second death have no power, for they shall be the priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. 7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 8 and shall go out to deceive the people which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle; whose number is as the sand of the sea. 9 And they went up on the plain of the earth, and compassed the tents of the saints about, and the beloved city. And fire came down from God, out of heaven, and devoured them: 10 and the devil that deceived them, was cast into a lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet were and shall be tormented day and night for ever more. 11 And I saw a great white seat and him that sat on it, from whose face fled away both the earth and heaven, and their place was no more found. 12 And I saw the dead, both great and small, stand before God: And the books were opened, and another book was opened, which is the book of life, and the dead were judged of those things which were written in the books according to their deeds. 13 And the sea gave up her dead, which were in her, and death and hell delivered up the dead, which were in them: and they were judged every man according to his deeds. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is that second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life, was cast into the lake of fire.

1 Thessalonians 4:16

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, and the voice of the archangel, and trump of God. And the dead in Christ shall arise first:

Jude 1:9

9 Yet Michael the archangel, when he strove against the devil, and disputed the body of Moses, durst not give railing sentence, but said, "The Lord rebuke thee."
