³² But I wish for you to be carefree. He who is unmarried is anxious for the things of the Lord, how he will be pleasing the Lord; ³³ but he who is married is anxious for the things of the world, how he may please the wife. ³⁴ He has been divided. The unmarried woman, (also the virgin), is anxious for the things is of the Lord, in order that she may be holy both in body and in spirit, but she who is married is anxious for the things of the world, how she will be pleasing the husband. ³⁵ Now, I say this thing is advantageous for yourselves, not in order that I may cast a noose upon you, but a non-distraction toward the decent, and devoted in the Lord.

³ For this is the will of God, your holiness, for you to abstain from fornication; ⁴ for each of you to know how to procure his own vessel in holiness and honor, ⁵ not in the passion of lust, just-as also the Gentiles who do not know God,

¹³ If any man takes a wife and goes in to her and dislikes her, ¹⁴ and charges her with shameful things and brings up an evil name upon her and says, I took this woman and when I came near to her, I did not find in her the tokens of virginity, ¹⁵ then the father of the maiden and her mother, will take and bring forth the tokens of the maiden's virginity to the elders of the city in the gate.
¹⁶ And the maiden's father will say to the elders, I gave my daughter to this man as a wife and he dislikes her. ¹⁷ And behold, he has charged her with shameful things, saying, I did not find in your daughter the tokens of virginity and yet these are the tokens of my daughter's virginity. And they will spread the garment before the elders of the city.
¹⁸ And the elders of that city will take the man and discipline him, ¹⁹ and they will fine him a hundred shekels of silver and give them to the father of the maiden, because he has brought up an evil name upon a virgin of Israel and she will be his wife. He may not put her away all his days.
²⁰ But if this thing be true, that the tokens of virginity were not found in the maiden, ²¹ then they will bring the maiden out to the door of her father's house and the men of her city will stone her to death with stones, because she has done senselessness in Israel, to play the prostitute in her father's house. So will you put away the evil from the midst of you.

¹ Therefore brethren, I am encouraging you through the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, well pleasing to God, which is your logical divine service. ² And not to fashion yourselves to this age, but be transfigured by the renewal of your mind, that you may be proving in you what is the will of God: the good and acceptable and mature.

⁴ These are those who were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are those who are following the Lamb wherever he goes. These were bought by Jesus from mankind, as the first-fruit to God and to the Lamb,

⁶ But ‘God made them male and female’from the beginning of the creation. ⁷ ‘Because of this, a man will be leaving his father and mother and will be joined to his wife; ⁸ and the two will become one flesh,’so-that they are no more two, but one flesh.

⁹ Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not be inheriting the kingdom of God? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor pedophiles, nor homosexuals, ¹⁰ nor the greedy ones, nor thieves, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will be inheriting the kingdom of God. ¹¹ And some of you were these, but you were fully-washed, but you were made holy, but you were made righteous in the name of the Lord Jesus and in the Spirit of our God.

¹⁸ Flee fornication. Every sin, whatever a man practices, is outside the body, but he who is fornicating, sins toward his own body. ¹⁹ Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? And you are not your own; ²⁰ for you were bought with a price. Glorify God in your body and in your spirit which is God’s!

³ For this is the will of God, your holiness, for you to abstain from fornication; ⁴ for each of you to know how to procure his own vessel in holiness and honor, ⁵ not in the passion of lust, just-as also the Gentiles who do not know God, ⁶ and not to go beyond limits and takes-advantage of his brother in the matter, because the Lord is an avenger concerning all these things, just-as we have also spoken to you beforehand and thoroughly testified. ⁷ For God did not call us in uncleanness, but in holiness. ⁸ Therefore, the one who is rejecting this is not rejecting man, but God, who also gives his Holy Spirit to you.

⁸ But I am saying to the unmarried and to the widows, it is good for them if they remain even as I am. ⁹ But if they do not exercise self-control, let them marry; for it is better to marry than to be on fire.

⁴ Let marriage be honored among all and let the marriage-bed be undefiled, but fornicators and adulterers God will be judging.

²⁴ Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother and will cling to his wife and the two will be one flesh.

² But, because of fornications, let each man have his own wife and let each woman have her own husband.
