John 3:16

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, in order that everyone who believes in him might not perish, but may have everlasting life.

Luke 16:19-31

19 Now there was a certain rich man and he was clothing himself in purple and fine-linen, having been radiantly joyous daily. 20 Now there was a certain poor man, Lazarus by name, who had been put at his gate, having been full of sores, 21 and desiring to be fed from the falling crumbs of the rich man’s table. But even the dogs, coming to him, were licking his sores. 22 Now it happened, that the poor man died and that he was carried away by the messengers into Abraham’s bosom, and the rich man also died and was buried. 23 And in Hades, he lifted up his eyes, being in torments, and he sees Abraham from afar, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 And having shouted, he said, Father Abraham, show-mercy to me, and send Lazarus in order that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and may cool my tongue, because I am in anguish in this flame.
25 But Abraham said, Child, remember that you received your good things in your life and Lazarus likewise evil things, but now he is comforted here and you are in anguish. 26 And upon all things, a great chasm is established between us and you, that those who wish to cross over from here to you may not be able, nor may they ferry over from there to us. 27 But he said, Therefore father, I am requesting him in order that you should send him to my father’s house; 28 for I have five brethren; that he may thoroughly testify to them, in order that they may not even come into this place of torment.
29 But Abraham says to him, They have Moses and the prophets. Let them hear them.
30 But he said, No, father Abraham, but if someone travels to them from the dead, they will be repenting.
31 But he said to him, If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, if someone rises up from the dead.

Ephesians 6:12

12 Because the wrestling in us is not with blood and flesh, but with the principalities, with the authorities, with the world dominions of the darkness of this age, with the spiritual ones of wickedness in the heavenly places. \ulnone\nosupersub

Ephesians 6:1

1 The children, obey*\'b0 your parents in the Lord; for this is righteous.

1 Peter 2:1-25

1 Therefore having placed away from yourselves all malice and all treachery, and hypocrisies and envies, and all slanders, 2 as newborn babies, long-for the logical milk which has no treachery, in order that you may grow in it; 3 if indeed, you have tasted it, that the Lord is kind; 4 coming to whom is a living stone, having indeed been rejected by men, but chosen and precious with God. 5 You, yourselves, like living stones, are also built up as a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 6 Because it is contained in the Scripture, ‘Behold, I place in Zion, a cornerstone, chosen and precious, and the one who believes on him may never be ashamed.’ 7 Therefore, to those who believe is the honor, but to the disobedient, ‘ The stone which the builders rejected, this became to them the head of the corner'; 8 and, ‘A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense'; those who are stumbling in the word, being disobedient, toward which they were also appointed. 9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s ownership, that you may proclaim the virtues of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light; 10 who previously were not a people, but now are the people of God; who had not been shown-mercy, but now have been shown-mercy.
11 Beloved, I am encouraging you, as foreigners and travelers, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which are warring against the soul; 12 having your good conduct seen among the Gentiles; in order that, in what they are speaking against you, as evildoers, they may glorify God in the day of visitation, having eye-witnessed things from your good works.
13 Therefore be subject to every human creation because of the Lord: whether to the king, as being superior to you; 14 or to governors, as they are sent through him for vengeance on evildoers and praise to the doers of good. 15 Because so is the will of God, doing good things to hush the ignorance of foolish men; 16 as free and yet not having your freedom as a cover-up of malice, but as bondservants of God. 17 Honor all men. Love*\'b0 the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.
18 Domestic servants, be subject to your masters in all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the crooked. 19 For this is grace, if anyone undergoes sorrows, suffering wrongfully because of his consciousness of God. 20 For what credit is it, if, when you are sinning and are battered for it, you will be enduring it? But if, when you are doing good and are suffering for it, you will be enduring it; this is grace with God. 21 For you were called into this, because Christ also suffered on our behalf, leaving a model for you, in order that you should follow after his footprints. 22 He who did no sin, nor was treachery found in his mouth; 23 who, being reviled, was not reviling again in return; when suffering, was not threatening, (but was giving himself to the one who judges righteously), 24 who, himself, carried our sins in his body upon the tree, in order that we might live to righteousness, having died to our sins; by whose wound s you were healed. 25 For you were being misled like sheep, but now were returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

Proverbs 16:28-30

28 A perverse man scatters abroad strife and a whisperer separates chief friends.
29 A man of violence entices his neighbor and leads him in a way that is not good.
30 He who shuts his eyes devises perverse things. He who moves his lips completes evil things.

Proverbs 24:1-34

1 Do not be envious against evil men, nor desire to be with them. 2 Because their heart meditates oppression and their lips talk of mischief.
3 Through wisdom a house is built and by understanding it is established, 4 and by knowledge the chambers are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.
5 A wise man is strong, yes, a man of knowledge increases might.
6 Because by wise guidance you will make your war and in the multitude of counselors there is safety.
7 Wisdom is too high for a fool. He opens not his mouth in the gate.
8 He who devises to do evil, men will call him a mischief-maker.
9 The thought of folly is sin. And the scoffer is an abomination to men.
10 If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.
11 Deliver those who are carried away to death and hold back those who are slipping away to be slain. 12 If you say, Behold, we did not know this, Does not he who weighs the hearts consider it? And he who keeps your soul, does he not know it? And will not he render to every man according to his work?
13 My son, eat honey, because it is good and the droppings of the honeycomb, which are sweet to your taste, 14 so the knowledge of wisdom is to your soul. If you have found it, then there will be a reward and your hope will not be cut off.
15 Lay not in wait, O wicked man, against the habitation of the righteous. Do not destroy his resting place. 16 Because a righteous man falls seven times and rises up again, but the wicked are overthrown by calamity.
17 Rejoice not when your enemy falls and do not let your heart be glad when he is overthrown, 18 lest Jehovah see it and it displease him and he turn away his wrath from him.
19 Do not be furious because of evildoers, nor be envious at the wicked. 20 Because there will be no reward to the evil man. The lamp of the wicked will be put out.
21 My son, fear Jehovah and the king and do not associate with those who are given to change. 22 Because their calamity will rise suddenly and the destruction from them both, who knows it?
23 These also are from the wise:
To have respect of persons in judgment is not good.
24 He who says to a wicked man, You are righteous, peoples will curse him, nations will defy him. 25 But to those who rebuke him will be a delight and a good blessing will come upon them.
26 He who gives a right answer kisses the lips.
27 Prepare your work outside and make it ready for you in the field and afterwards build your house.
28 Do not bear witness against your neighbor without cause and deceive not with your lips.
29 Do not say, I will do so to him as he has done to me; I will render to the man according to his work.
30 I went by the field of the sluggard and by the vineyard of the man void of understanding.
31 And behold, it was all grown over with thorns. The face of it was covered with nettles and the stone wall of it was broken down.
32 Then I beheld and considered well. I saw and received instruction: 33 Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep, 34 so your poverty will come as a robber and your want as an armed man.

Proverbs 6:16-19

16 There are six things which Jehovah hates, yes, seven which are an abomination to him: 17 haughty eyes, a lying tongue and hands that shed innocent blood, 18 a heart that devises wicked purposes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, 19 a false witness who breathes-out lies and he who sows discord among brothers.

Romans 16:17

17 Now brethren, I am encouraging you, to note those making the dissensions and the offenses contrary to the teaching which you learned and are practicing, and shun away from them.
