¹ A false balance is an abomination to Jehovah, but a just weight is his delight.

³⁴ I am giving to you a new commandment, in order that you should love one another; just-as I have loved you, in order that you also should love one another. ³⁵ All men will know that you are my disciples in this, if you have love among one another.

³⁸ Now Peter said to them, Repent and be immersed each one of you in the name of Jesus Christ into the forgiveness of your sins, and you will be receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit. \super{F}

¹ Hence O man, you are without defense, everyone who judges; for in what you are judging the other, you are condemning yourself; for you who judge are practicing the same things.

¹² The fortunate man who is enduring temptation, because having become approved, he will be receiving the crown of life, which the Lord promised to those who love him. ¹³ Let no one say when he is tempted, I am tempted by God, for God is not temptable from evils, and he himself tempts no one. ¹⁴ But each person is tempted, when he is pulled away and enticed by his own lust. ¹⁵ Thereafter when this lust has conceived, it bears sin, and sin, when it has matured, gives-birth to death.

¹ Therefore what will we say? Are we remaining in sin, in order that grace may increase? ² Let it not happen! We who died to sin, how will we live in it any longer? ³ Or are you ignorant that as many as were immersed into Christ Jesus were immersed into his death? ⁴ Therefore we were buried together with him through the immersion into his death; in order that just-like Christ was raised up from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we might also walk in newness of life. ⁵ For if we have become unified together with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be unified with him in the likeness of his resurrection. ⁶ Knowing this, that our old man was crucified together with him, in order that the body of sin might be done-away, that we are to be enslaved to sin no longer; ⁷ for he who has died has been made righteous away from sin. ⁸ But if we died together with Christ, we believe that we will also be living together with him; ⁹ knowing that Christ having been raised up from the dead dies no more; death has no more lordship over him. ¹⁰ For that death that he died to sin, he died to sin once for all, but that life that he lives, he is living to God. ¹¹ So you also, count yourselves to be indeed dead to sin, but living to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
¹² Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you might obey it in its lusts; ¹³ nor present your members as weapons of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God, as living from the dead and your members as weapons of righteousness to God. ¹⁴ For sin will not have lordship over you; for you are not under the law, but under grace. ¹⁵ Therefore what? Shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? Let it not happen! ¹⁶ Do you not know, that to whom you present yourselves as bondservants to obedience, you are the bondservants to whom you obey; either of sin to death or of obedience to righteousness? ¹⁷ But gratitude to God, that, though you were bondservants of sin, you obeyed from the heart the pattern of teaching to which you were given; ¹⁸ and having been made free from sin, you were enslaved to righteousness.
¹⁹ I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh; for just-as you presented your members as bondservants to uncleanness and to lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as bondservants to righteousness leading to holiness. ²⁰ For when you were bondservants of sin, you were free in regard to the righteousness. ²¹ Therefore, what fruit were you having then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. ²² But now, having been made free from sin and having been enslaved to God, you have your fruit leading to holiness and the end everlasting life. ²³ For the compensations of sin is death, but the gift of God is everlasting life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

²¹ Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, because I wait for you.

¹ If I speak with the languages of men and of messengers, but do not have love, I have become like noisy brass or a clanging cymbal. ² And if I have the gift of prophecy and if I know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so-then to remove mountains, but if I do not have love, I am nothing. ³ And if I handout all my possessed things and if I give my body in order that I would be burned, but if I do not have love, it profits me nothing. ⁴ Love has patience. It is kind. Love is not jealous. Love does not brag. It is not arrogant. ⁵ It does not behave improperly. It does not seek its own. It does not irritate. It does not reason evil. ⁶ It does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices together with the truth. ⁷ It is forbearing all things, is believing all things, is hoping for all things, is enduring all things. ⁸ Love never falls short.
But if there are prophesies, they will be done-away; if there are foreign languages, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done-away.
⁹ But we know partially and we prophesy partially; ¹⁰ but whenever the completed thing comes, then what is partially will be done-away. ¹¹ When I was an infant, I was speaking like an infant, I had the mindset like that of an infant, I was reasoning like an infant. Now that I have become a man, I have done-away-with the things of the infant. ¹² For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. I know now partially, but then I will fully know just-as I was also fully known.
¹³ But these three are remaining now: faith, hope, love, and the greater of these is love.

⁸ Owe nothing to anyone, except to love one another; for he who loves the other has fulfilled the law. ⁹ For the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery; Do not murder; Do not steal; Do not covet, and if there is some other commandment in this word, it is summed up in the commandment : ‘You will love your neighbor like yourself.’ ¹⁰ Love works no evil to ward his neighbor. Therefore, love is the fulfillment of the law.

¹⁶ All Scripture is God breathed and is profitable for teaching, for conviction, for correction, for education which is in righteousness, ¹⁷ in order that the man of God may be equipped, having been utterly equipped for every good work.

⁹ Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not be inheriting the kingdom of God? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor pedophiles, nor homosexuals, ¹⁰ nor the greedy ones, nor thieves, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will be inheriting the kingdom of God. ¹¹ And some of you were these, but you were fully-washed, but you were made holy, but you were made righteous in the name of the Lord Jesus and in the Spirit of our God.
