¹ And Jehovah said to Abram, Go out of your country, and from your kindred, and from your father's house into a land that I will show you. ² And I will make you a great nation. And I will bless you and make your name great. And you shall be a blessing.

²¹ And Jehovah went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the right away, and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light, to go by day and night.

⁶ Seek Jehovah while He may be found; call on Him while He is near. ⁷ Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to Jehovah, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. ⁸ For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor your ways My ways, says Jehovah. ⁹ For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. ¹⁰ For as the rain comes down, and the snow from the heavens, and does not return there, but waters the earth, and makes it bring out and bud, and give seed to the sower and bread to the eater; ¹¹ so shall My Word be, which goes out of My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall certainly do what I sent it to do. ¹² For you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break out before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. ¹³ Instead of the thorn, the fir tree shall come up; and instead of the brier, the myrtle tree shall come up; and it shall be to Jehovah for a name, for an everlasting sign which shall not be cut off.

¹³ Go in through the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many there are who go in through it. ¹⁴ Because narrow is the gate and constricted is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

²⁰ teaching them to observe all things, whatever I commanded you. And, behold, I am with you all the days until the end of the world. Amen.

They do not toil, nor do they spin, ²⁹ but I say to you that even Solomon in his glory was not arrayed like one of these. ³⁰ Therefore if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much rather clothe you, little-faiths? ³¹ Therefore do not be anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, With what shall we be clothed? ³² For the nations seek after all these things. For your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. ³³ But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you. ³⁴ Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow; for tomorrow shall be anxious for its own things. Sufficient to the day is the evil of it.

³⁸ For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, ³⁹ nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

⁵ Trust in Jehovah with all your heart, and lean not to your own understanding. ⁶ In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

¹⁰⁵ NUN: Your Word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path.

¹¹ For I know the purposes which I am purposing for you, says Jehovah; purposes of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
