¹² Therefore all things, whatever you desire that men should do to you, do even so to them; for this is the Law and the Prophets.

⁷ For I would that all men were even as I myself am. But each has his proper gift from God, one according to this manner and another according to that. ⁸ I say therefore to the unmarried and the widows, It is good for them if they remain even as I. ⁹ But if they do not have self-control, let them marry; for it is better to marry than to burn.

³⁹ And the second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

¹ Judge not, that you may not be judged. ² For with whatever judgment you judge, you shall be judged; and with whatever measure you measure out, it shall be measured to you again. ³ And why do you look on the splinter that is in your brother's eye, but do not consider the beam that is in your own eye? ⁴ Or how will you say to your brother, Let me pull the splinter out of your eye; and, behold, a beam is in your own eye? ⁵ Hypocrite! First cast the beam out of your own eye, and then you shall see clearly to cast the splinter out of your brother's eye.

¹¹ But He said to them, Not all receive this word, except those to whom it is given. ¹² For there are some eunuchs who were born so from their mother's womb; and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men; and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of Heaven's sake. He who is able to receive it, let him receive it.

⁸ Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves another has fulfilled the Law. ⁹ For: "Do not commit adultery; do not murder; do not steal; do not bear false witness; do not lust;" and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this word, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." ¹⁰ Love works no ill to its neighbor, therefore love is the fulfilling of the Law.

²⁸ There cannot be Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is no male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

¹⁴ For all the Law is fulfilled in one word, even in this, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."

⁹ Do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor abusers, nor homosexuals, ¹⁰ nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. ¹¹ And such were some of you. But you are washed, but you are sanctified, but you are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

⁸ But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially his family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an infidel.

¹² There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you who judges another?

³ And do not let the son of the stranger, who has joined himself to Jehovah, speak, saying, Jehovah has utterly separated me from His people. And do not let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree. ⁴ For so says Jehovah to the eunuchs who keep My Sabbath, and choose things that please Me, and take hold of My covenant; ⁵ even to them will I give within My house and within My walls a hand and a name better than of sons and of daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that shall not be cut off.

¹ And there came two angels to Sodom at evening. And Lot sat in the gate of Sodom. And Lot rose up to meet them when he saw them. And he bowed himself with his face toward the ground, ² and said, Behold now, my lords, please turn into your servant's house and stay all night, and wash your feet, and you shall rise up early and go your way. And they said, No, but we will stay in the street. ³ But he urgently pressed on them, and they turned in to him and entered into his house. And he made them a feast, and baked unleavened bread, and they ate. ⁴ But before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, surrounded the house, both old and young, all the people from every quarter. ⁵ And they called to Lot, and said to him, Where are the men which came in to you this night? Bring them out to us, that we may know them. ⁶ And Lot went out to the door to them, and shut the door after him. ⁷ And he said, I pray you, brothers, do not act evilly. ⁸ Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man. I pray you, let me bring them out to you, and you do to them as you see fit. But do nothing to these men, for this is why they came under the shadow of my roof. ⁹ And they said, Stand back! And they said, This one came in to stay, and must he judge always? Now we will deal worse with you than with them. And they pressed hard upon the man, Lot, and came near to breaking the door. ¹⁰ But the men put out their hands and brought Lot into the house to them, and shut the door. ¹¹ And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great, so that they wearied themselves to find the door. ¹² And the men said to Lot, Have you anyone here besides yourself? Bring your sons-in-law, and your sons, and your daughters, and whatever you have in the city, bring them out of this place. ¹³ For we will destroy this place because great is the cry of them before the face of Jehovah. And Jehovah has sent us to destroy it. ¹⁴ And Lot went out and spoke with his sons-in-law, who married his daughters, and said, Get up and get out of this place, for Jehovah will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked to his sons-in-law. ¹⁵ And when the dawn rose up, then the angels hurried Lot, saying, Rise up! Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be consumed in the iniquity of the city. ¹⁶ And he lingered, the angel laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters (Jehovah being merciful to him), and they brought him forth and set him outside the city. ¹⁷ And it happened when they brought him outside, He said, Escape for your life! Do not look behind you, nor stay in all the plain. Escape to the mountain lest you be consumed. ¹⁸ And Lot said to them, Oh no, Lord, ¹⁹ please now, Your servant has found grace in Your sight, and You have magnified Your mercy, which You have shown to me in saving my life. And I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me and I die. ²⁰ Behold now, this city is near to flee to, and it is a little one. Oh let me escape there (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live. ²¹ And He said to him, See, I have accepted you concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow this city for which you have spoken. ²² Hurry and escape there! For I cannot do anything till you have come there. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar. ²³ The sun had risen upon the earth, and Lot entered into Zoar. ²⁴ Then Jehovah rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire, from Jehovah out of the heavens. ²⁵ And He overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.

⁷ as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them, in like manner to these, committing fornication, and going away after other flesh, laid down an example before-times, undergoing vengeance of everlasting fire.

²² You shall not lie with mankind as with womankind. It is abomination to God.

²⁷ And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another; males with males working out shamefulness, and receiving in themselves the recompense which was fitting for their error.
