¹² Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish from the way, when His wrath is kindled in but a little time. Blessed are all who put their trust in Him.

¹ Blessed is the man who has not walked in the counsel of the ungodly, and has not stood in the way of sinners, and has not sat in the seat of the scornful. ² But his delight is only in the Law of Jehovah; and in His Law he meditates day and night. ³ And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivulets of water that brings forth its fruit in its seasons, and its leaf shall not wither, and all which he does shall be blessed.

For so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

⁷ Blessed is the man who trusts in Jehovah, and Jehovah is his trust.

³ Blessed are the poor in spirit! For theirs is the kingdom of Heaven. ⁴ Blessed are they that mourn! For they shall be comforted. ⁵ Blessed are the meek! For they shall inherit the earth. ⁶ Blessed are they who hunger and thirst after righteousness! For they shall be filled. ⁷ Blessed are the merciful! For they shall obtain mercy.
