¹⁴ Turn, O backsliding sons, says Jehovah; for I am married to you; and I will take you one from a city, and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion.

²² Return, O backsliding sons, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come to You; for You are Jehovah our God.

⁴ For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit, ⁵ and have tasted the good Word of God and the powers of the world to come, ⁶ and who have fallen away; it is impossible, I say, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify the Son of God afresh to themselves and put Him to an open shame.

¹⁴ if My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

¹⁴ The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways, but a good man from himself.

⁹ If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

And again, "The Lord shall judge His people." ³¹ It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
