³⁴ Jesus answered them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Whoever practices sin is the slave of sin.

¹⁶ They will deliver you from the strange woman, the stranger who flatters with her words, ¹⁷ who forsakes the guide of her youth and forgets the covenant of her God. ¹⁸ For her house bows down to death, and her paths to the dead. ¹⁹ All who go in to her do not return, nor do they take hold of the paths of life, ²⁰ in order that you may walk in the way of good and keep the paths of the righteous. ²¹ For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it. ²² But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it.

³ For though walking about in flesh, we do not war according to flesh. ⁴ For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, ⁵ pulling down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought into the obedience of Christ;

¹⁸ Flee fornication. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits fornication sins against his own body.

²⁵ Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for it,

²⁸ But I say to you that whoever looks on a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

¹³ He who covers his sins shall not be blessed; but whoever confesses and leaves them shall have mercy.

³² But I say to you that whoever shall put away his wife, except for the cause of fornication, causes her to commit adultery. And whoever shall marry her who is put away commits adultery.

⁴ Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled, but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
