⁸ Jehovah will command His loving-kindness in the daytime, and in the night His song shall be with me, my prayer to the God of my life. ⁹ I will say to God my rock, Why have You forgotten me? Why do I go mourning because of the cruelty of the enemy? ¹⁰ As with a sword in my bones, my enemies shame me; while they say daily to me, Where is your God? ¹¹ Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why do you moan within me? Hope in God; for I still praise Him, the salvation of my face, and my God.

⁴ For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, ⁵ pulling down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought into the obedience of Christ;

² O my God, I trust in You; do not let me be ashamed, let not my enemies triumph over me. ³ Yea, let none who wait on You be ashamed; let them be ashamed who sin without cause. ⁴ Make me know Your ways, O Jehovah; teach me Your paths. ⁵ Lead me in Your truth, and teach me; for You are the God of my salvation; on You I wait all the day long. ⁶ Remember, O Jehovah, Your tender mercies and Your loving-kindnesses; for they are from eternity. ⁷ Do not remember the sins of my youth, or my rebellings; according to Your mercy remember me for Your goodness' sake, O Jehovah. ⁸ Good and upright is Jehovah; therefore He will teach sinners in the way. ⁹ The meek He will guide in judgment; and the meek He will teach His way. ¹⁰ All the paths of Jehovah are mercy and truth to those who keep His covenant and His testimonies. ¹¹ For Your name's sake, O Jehovah, pardon my iniquity; for it is great.

⁷³ JOD: Your hands have made me and formed me; give me understanding so that I may learn Your Commandments. ⁷⁴ They who fear You will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in Your Word. ⁷⁵ I know, O Jehovah, that Your judgments are right, and that You have afflicted me in faithfulness. ⁷⁶ I beseech You, let Your merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to Your Word to Your servant. ⁷⁷ Let Your tender mercies come to me so that I may live; for Your Law is my delight. ⁷⁸ Let the proud be ashamed; for they perverted my cause with lying; I will think on Your Commandments. ⁷⁹ Let those who fear You turn to me, and those who have known Your testimonies. ⁸⁰ Let my heart be sound in Your Precepts, so that I may not be ashamed. ⁸¹ KAPH: My soul faints for Your salvation; I hope in Your Word.

¹¹ For I know the purposes which I am purposing for you, says Jehovah; purposes of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

¹⁸ For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the coming glory to be revealed in us. ¹⁹ For the earnest expectation of the creation waits for the manifestation of the sons of God. ²⁰ For the creation was not willingly subjected to vanity, but because of Him who subjected it on hope ²¹ that the creation itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. ²² And we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now. ²³ And not only so, but ourselves also, who have the firstfruit of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, awaiting adoption, the redemption of our body. ²⁴ For we are saved by hope. But hope that is seen is not hope; for what anyone sees, why does he also hope for it? ²⁵ But if we hope for that which we do not see, then we wait for it with patience.

³³ Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect? It is God who justifies. ³⁴ Who is he condemning? It is Christ who has died, but rather also who is raised, who is also at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. ³⁵ Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? ³⁶ As it is written, "For Your sake we are killed all the day long. We are counted as sheep of slaughter." ³⁷ But in all these things we more than conquer through Him who loved us. ³⁸ For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, ³⁹ nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

²⁸ And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

¹⁴ For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under Law, but under grace.

¹⁵ For that which I do, I know not. For what I desire, that I do not do; but what I hate, that I do. ¹⁶ If then I do that which I do not desire, I consent to the law that it is good. ¹⁷ But now it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwells in me. ¹⁸ For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) dwells no good thing. For to will is present with me, but how to perform that which is good I do not find. ¹⁹ For I do not do the good that I desire; but the evil which I do not will, that I do. ²⁰ But if I do what I do not desire, it is no more I working it out, but sin dwelling in me. ²¹ I find then a law: when I will to do the right, evil is present with me. ²² For I delight in the Law of God according to the inward man; ²³ but I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin being in my members. ²⁴ O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death? ²⁵ I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then with the mind I myself serve the Law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.

²⁶ Likewise the Spirit also helps our infirmities. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. ²⁷ And He searching the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
