⁵ you, also, as living stones, are built up a spiritual temple, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices, most acceptable to God, through Jesus Christ.

¹¹ For other foundation no one can lay, except what is laid, which is Jesus Christ. ¹² Now if any one build on this foundation, gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; ¹³ every one's work shall be made manifest: for the say will make it plain, because it is revealed by fire; and so the fire will try every one's work, of what sort it is. ¹⁴ If the work of any one remain, which he has built upon the foundation: he shall receive a reward. ¹⁵ If the work of any one shall be burnt, he will suffer loss: himself, however, shall be saved, yet so as through a fire.

¹⁹ Having, therefore, brethren, free access to the most holy place, by the blood of Jesus- ²⁰ a new and living way, which he has consecrated for us through the vail, (that is, his flesh,)

¹⁹ And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of his covenants appeared in his temple: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunders, and an earthquake, and great hail.
