²² But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, fidelity, ²³ meekness, temperance: against such things there is no law. ²⁴ Besides, they who are Christ's, have crucified the flesh with the passions and lusts.

⁴ Now the passover, the Jewish festival, was near.

¹⁹ whose end is destruction, whose god is their appetites, whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

¹⁹ What! do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have from God? ²⁰ Besides, you are not your own; for you are bought with a price: therefore, with your body glorify God.
