³³ These things I have spoken to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take courage! I have overcome the world.

⁶ Now this I say, he who sows sparingly, shall reap sparingly; and he who sows bountifully, shall reap bountifully. ⁷ Every one according as he has purposed in his heart, ought to give; not with regret, nor by constraint; for God loves a cheerful giver. ⁸ And God is able to make every blessing abound to you; that in everything, always having all sufficiency, you may abound in every good work. ⁹ As it is written, "He has dispersed, he has given to the poor: his righteousness remains forever."

¹⁷ every good gift, and every perfect gift, is from above, descended from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variableness, nor shadow of turning.

¹⁶ Rejoice always. ¹⁷ Pray without ceasing. ¹⁸ In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God, by Christ Jesus, concerning you.
