¹⁸ I will not leave you forlorn; I will return to you.

²¹ and being exposed, the daughter of Pharaoh took him up, and nourished him for her own son:

¹⁵ For you have not received the spirit of bondage, again, to fear; but you have received the spirit of adoption, by which we cry, Abba, Father.

²⁶ For you are all the sons of God through the faith by Christ Jesus.

¹² but to as many as received him, believing in his name, he granted the privilege of being children of God;

¹ Behold how great love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! For this reason, the world does not know us, because it did not know him.

⁸ That is, the children of the flesh are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted for seed.

⁵ that he might redeem those under law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. ⁶ And because you are sons, God has sent forth the spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. ⁷ So that you are no more a bondman, but a son, and if a son, then heir of God through Christ.

⁵ Nay, whosoever receives one such child, in my name, receives me:
