¹ Thou shalt not receive a false report: put not thy hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.

³ Also with words of hatred have they encompassed me, and they fight against me without a cause.

²⁸ A perverse man scattereth strife; and a whisperer separateth confident friends.

¹⁹ He that goeth about as a talebearer revealeth secrets: therefore meddle not with him that enticeth with his lips.

⁹ With his mouth doth the hypocrite destroy his neighbor; but through knowledge are the righteous delivered.

¹⁸ He that hideth hatred hath lips of falsehood; and he that spreadeth abroad an evil report, is a fool.

⁵ Whoso slandereth in secret his neighbor, him will I destroy: whoso hath proud eyes and a haughty heart, him will I not suffer.
