¹⁹ For the works of the flesh are well-known, which are these: adultery, impurity, and lasciviousness, ²⁰ Idolatry, witchcraft, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger, stubbornness, seditions, heresies, ²¹ Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and all like things: those who practice these things, as I have told you before and I say to you now, they shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

²⁶ If any man thinks that he ministers to God, and does not control his tongue, he deceives his own heart, and this manÆs ministry is in vain.

⁴ Neither cursing, nor foolish words, nor insults, nor words of flattery, none of which are necessary: but instead of these, let thanks be offered.

²⁹ Let no bad word proceed from your mouth, but words that are good and useful for edification, that they will impart blessing to those who hear them.
