²⁰ Jesus said to them, Because of your unbelief; for truly I say to you, If there is faith in you even as a grain of mustard, you will say to this mountain, move away from here, and it will move away; and nothing would prevail over you.

²³ And blessed is he, who does not stumble on account of me.

¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that he even gave his only begotten Son, so that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

¹⁴ Do not unite in marriage with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity? Or what mingling has light with darkness? ¹⁵ Or what accord has Christ with Satan? ⁶ But let him ask in faith, not doubting. For he who doubts is like the waves of the sea driven by the wind and tossed.

¹⁹ And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in wickedness. ²⁰ And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true, and we are in him who is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. ²¹ My children, keep yourselves from idols.

³ If there is any man who teaches a different doctrine, and does not offer the wholesome words of our LORD Jesus Christ, and the doctrine of reverence to God; ⁴ He is proud, knowing nothing, and dotes on an argument and quarrels on the use of a word and this is the cause of envy and controversy and blasphemy and evil premeditation, ⁵ And strife among men whose minds are corrupt and who are cut off from the truth and who think worshipping God is for worldly gain; you keep away from such things.

²¹ It is not everyone who merely says to me, My Lord, my Lord, will enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father in heaven.

¹⁴ For many are invited, and few are chosen.

²⁷ Then he said to Thomas, Bring your finger here, and see my hands; and bring your hand and put it into my side; and do not be an unbeliever, but a believer. ²⁸ Thomas answered and said to him, O my Lord and my God! ²⁹ Jesus said to him, Now you believe, because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen me, and have believed.

⁵ Having a form of godliness, but are far from the power of God: from such turn away.

²² And on some of them whoever they may be, heap coals of fire:

¹⁵ Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. ¹⁶ For all that is in the world, the lust of the body, and the covetousness of the eyes, and the pride of material things; does not come from the Father, but is of the world. ¹⁷ And the world passes away, and the lust thereof: but he who does the will of God abides forever.

⁸ For it is by grace that you are saved through faith; not of your doing: it is the gift of God:

¹⁶ He who believes and is baptized shall be saved; and he who does not believe shall be condemned.

⁴⁸ He who oppresses me and does not receive my words, there is one who will judge him; the word which I have spoken, it will judge him at the last day.

¹⁸ He who believes in him will not be condemned; and he who does not believe has already been condemned, for not believing in the name of the only begotten Son of God. ¹⁹ And this is the judgment, that light has come into the world, and yet men have loved darkness more than light, because their works were evil.

¹¹ For this cause God shall send them strong delusion that they should believe a lie. ¹² That they all, who did not believe in the truth but preferred unrighteousness, might be damned.

²³ Jesus said to him, If you can believe, everything is possible to him who believes. ²⁴ And immediately the father of the boy cried out weeping, and said, I do believe, help my little belief. ²⁵ When Jesus saw that people were run- ning and gathering to him, he rebuked the unclean spirit, and said to it, O deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him, and do not enter him again.
