¹¹ But he who is greatest among you, let him be your minister. ¹² For whoever exalts himself shall be humbled; and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted.

¹⁵ Henceforth I will not call you servants, because a servant does not know what his master does; but I have always called you my friends, because everything that I heard from my Father I made it known to you. ¹⁶ You did not choose me, but I chose you, and I have appointed you, that you also should go and produce fruit, and that your fruit might remain; so that whatever you ask my Father in my name, he will give it to you.

²⁴ Knowing that from the LORD you shall receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the LORD Christ.

⁵ Reason this within you which Jesus Christ also reasoned, ⁶ Who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God: ⁷ But made himself of no reputation and took upon himself the form of a servant, and was in the likeness of men:

²⁶ But not so with you; but he who is great among you, let him be the least, and he who is a leader be like a minister.
