¹⁵ And he said to them, Go to all the world, and preach my gospel to the whole creation. ¹⁶ He who believes and is baptized shall be saved; and he who does not believe shall be condemned.

¹⁸ And Jesus came up and spoke with them, and said to them, All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Just as my Father has sent me I am also sending you. ¹⁹ Go, therefore, and convert all nations; and baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit; ²⁰ And teach them to obey everything that I have commanded you; and, behold, I am with you all the days, to the end of the world. Amen.

¹⁰ For the Son of man came to seek and save that which was lost.

¹⁷ For Christ did not send me to baptize but to preach the gospel: and not to rely on the wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be in vain.

⁵ But you must be awake to all things, endure hardships, do the work of a preacher, and fulfil your ministry.

² Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; ³ And pray for us also, that God may open unto us a door for preaching, to speak the mystery of Christ for whose sake I am a prisoner: ⁴ So that I may make it manifest and speak about it as I should. ⁵ Live wisely in peace with those who are outside the church, and avoid offending. ⁶ Let your conversation be gracious, seasoned with salt, and you should know how to answer every man.

⁸ But when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you shall receive power and you shall be witnesses to me both in Jerusalem and in all Judaea also in the province of Samaria and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

¹⁶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one who believes; whether they are Jews first, or Arameans (Syrians). *

²² With the weak I became as weak, that I might win the weak: I became everything to every man, that I might by all means save everyone.

¹⁵ But sanctify the LORD Christ in your hearts: and be ready to give an answer in meekness and reverence to everyone who seeks from you a word concerning the hope of your faith:

³⁷ So he said to his disciples, The harvest is great, and the laborers are few; ³⁸ Therefore urge the owner of the harvest to bring more laborers to his harvest.

¹⁰ For the heart which believes in him, shall be declared righteous, and the mouth that confesses him shall live. ¹¹ For the scripture says, Whosoever believes on him shall not be ashamed. ¹² And in this, it does not discriminate between the Jews and the Syrians: for the same LORD over all is rich unto all who call upon him. ¹³ For whoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be saved. ¹⁴ How then can they call on him on whom they have not believed? Or how can they believe on him whom they have never heard? Or how can they hear without a preacher? ¹⁵ Or how can they preach, if they are not sent forth? As it is written, How becoming are the feet of those who preach peace, and of those who bring good tidings. ¹⁶ For all have not heard the preaching of the gospel. For Isaiah said, My LORD, who has believed the echoes of our voice? ¹⁷ So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
