²⁴ Do not judge by partiality, but judge a just judgment.

² Do not imitate the way of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, that you may discern what is that good and acceptable, and perfect will of God.

¹⁴ For the material man rejects spiritual things, for they are foolishness to him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

³³ For God is not a God of confusion but of peace, and he is in all churches of the saints.

⁵ If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men liberally and with grace; and it shall be given him.

⁹ And for this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all spiritual understanding: ¹⁰ So that you may choose the things that are excellent; and that you may be pure and without offence in the day of Christ;

¹⁴ But strong meat belongs to those who are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

¹² For the word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the point of division between soul and spirit, and between the joints and marrow and bones, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

¹ MY beloved, do not believe every prophecy, but examine the prophecies to find out if they are of God: because many false prophets have appeared in the world.
