²⁵ And every man who battles in the contest, frees his mind from every thing else. And yet they run to win a garland which is perishable; but we to win one which is everlasting.

¹⁹ For what is our hope, our joy, or crown of our glorying? Is it not you in the presence of our LORD Jesus when he comes?

¹ AND a great sign was seen in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

⁴ And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, you shall receive a crown of glory that will not fade away.

¹² Blessed is the man who endures temptations: for when he is tested, he shall receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.
