²² And while they thought within themselves that they were wise, they became fools,

¹ IF, therefore, you have found consola tion in Christ, or whole hearted love or fellowship of the Spirit or compassion and mercies, ² Complete my joy by being in one accord and one love and one soul and one mind. ³ Do nothing through strife or vain glory; but in humility let each regard his neighbor better than himself. ⁴ Let no one be mindful only of his own things, but let every one be mindful of the things of his neighbor also. ⁵ Reason this within you which Jesus Christ also reasoned, ⁶ Who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God: ⁷ But made himself of no reputation and took upon himself the form of a servant, and was in the likeness of men: ⁸ And, being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient to death, even the death of the cross. ⁹ Wherefore God also has highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name; ¹⁰ That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, of those on earth, and those under the earth, ¹¹ And every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is the LORD, to the glory of God his Father.

¹⁶ Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not vain glory, but associate with those who are humble. Be not wise in your own conceits.
