³¹ Then Jesus said to the Jews who believed in him, If you abide by my word, you are truly my disciples. ³² And you will know the truth, and that very truth will make you free.

¹⁸ For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all the iniquity and wickedness of men who unjustly suppress the truth; ¹⁹ Because that which may be known of God is manifested to them for God has revealed it unto them. ²⁰ For, from the very creation of the world, the invisible things of God have been clearly seen and understood by his creations, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.

¹⁷ So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

²¹ Prove all things, uphold that which is good. ²² Abstain from every sort of evil.

² Do not imitate the way of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, that you may discern what is that good and acceptable, and perfect will of God.

³⁶ He who believes in the Son has eternal life; and he who does not obey the Son, shall not see life, but the wrath of God shall remain on him.

¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that he even gave his only begotten Son, so that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. ¹⁷ For God did not send his Son into the world, to condemn the world; but that the world should be saved by him. ¹⁸ He who believes in him will not be condemned; and he who does not believe has already been condemned, for not believing in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
